A nice place to stop for a quick look around. There’s lots of vintage mining equipment, vehicles, and a gold panning area. Reasonable for an hour or two, but otherwise fairly limited. A small cafe on site, and a nice park nearby for a walk too.
This museum has a great collection with lots of buildings. Way bigger than I thought. Lots of information and well put together displays. Staff were so friendly and helpful. What a great place to visit
Absolutely lovely place to visit if you are on the way to tin can bay. Friendly staff and nice cafe at the front. Great history of early mining history of Gympie. Family friendly and heaps for the little one to discover.
Very quirky museum with loads of exhibits and interesting information about the history of Queensland. Wash your own gold is really funny.
