Ever since it was just the bare bones of an idea, the community response has been enthusiastic and overwhelmingly supportive. It’s time for Gympie to shine as a regional hub for science, innovation and tourism.

Mission

The museum will be a multi-purpose facility offering a bone and skull museum, research opportunities for postgraduate university students, skeleton and skull cleaning service for other museums, art classes, fossil specimen preparation, teacher professional development and a venue for touring museum collections, meetings, events and school excursions.
