Story

A true love story of romance and chocolate, the history of Guylian began in 1958 with its founders – Guy and Liliane Foubert.

Guy was a passionate Belgian chocolatier who developed the recipe of a signature hazelnut praliné filling; his sweetheart Liliane added an artistic touch, designing the shining marbled look and the delicately sculptured shapes and from that point Chocolaterie Guy-Lian was born.

Now many years later, Guylian is sold in more than 100 countries and we remain faithful to the original rich praliné recipe and delicately detailed shapes which define the brands heritage.

I loved this place! Good coffee and they bring it with a chocolate. Waffles and omelet were.pretty tasty and the service was great. It's perfectly located to allow for a nice view too

Best hot chocolate ever! High cuality choc in desserts, slices and drinks. Service super professional. Be ready to pay for it. Not for budget trips.

We ordered a round of drinks and icecream for the kids. The drinks came out first, with the icecream last (after we enquired about its whereabouts).

My sons icecream was half melted, with it filling up the bowl, so God knows how long it sat there awaiting delivery to our table.

My wife was provided the wrong sorbet, then was told they don't have flavour she requested (it was there, after showing the staff member the tag at the icecream counter).

It was swapped over, but without any apology for the error from the staff.

In summary, the good was good but the service lacking.

First time trying Guylian cafe. Not sure if its just this place, but the quality of drinks and desserts are just way too overpriced for their average quality. Would rather take some of the chocolates instead... Presentations are pretty nice but nothing fancy.

Shared breakfast with the family on a Saturday. The food was good quality & the service was friendly. A little expensive, but to be expected in a tourist area on the weekend.
