As we've moved a few times, each of our kids have gone through different kindergartens, and Gum Nut Gully is second to none. It provides a caring nurturing environment while allowing ample opportunity for our son, who currently attends, to push his boundaries. The play based learning is excellent, with enough structure to give the kids opportunities to try new things without being too rigid. We are looking forward to bush kinder in terms 2 and 3, something we always wanted for our older children but never had the opportunity at their respective previous kindergartens. The staff and parents are lovely and supportive, giving great feedback and obviously care about the kids the and the kinder community. We have another younger child who will definitely be attending Gum Nut Gully in the future.
Our kids have really flourished at Gum Nut Gully and it will always hold a special place in our hearts. The kids have formed beautiful friendships and we’ve made really great friends through it as well. The care, passion and experience really shines through in all the educators who develop such a strong bond with all the kids. They are patient, understanding and just wonderful to work with. The Bush Kinder program at Gum Nut is also very unique and it allowed our boys to learn through play in a natural setting. Both our boys went through 2 years of kinder here and our niece too. We definitely recommend Gum Nut Gully for parents who want an exceptional kinder experience!
Since starting at Gum Nut, my son has never been happier. He looks forward to going each day and has formed very close friendships. The educators are always sending photos and tailored updates throughout the week which is so comforting to see that my son is happily engaged. Well done to all the staff for running such a fantastic bush kinder.
I highly recommend Gumnut Gully Preschool to any parents looking to put their child into 3 or 4 year old Kinder. My daughter completed 3 year old Kindy last year and has stayed on to do 4 year old Kindy this year and she absolutely loves it. The teachers have all been exceptional, taking time to make connections with each student so they feel comfortable and secure going to Kindy. Last year the Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority rated them Exceeding in all 7 areas which is the highest rating possible and so well deserved. We have loved being apart of Gumnut Gully Preschool and it's wonderful community.
We have loved Gum Nut Gully for our two kids. It’s a wonderful community to be a part of in a gorgeous and natural setting and the education and care our children have received has been beyond our expectations.
The best thing about this kinder is my son loved it and look forward to each and every kinder day! Why he loved it so much? The teachers are there with heart, they care and learn about each individual kid, passionate about bring learning through play. They also offer the best bush kinder program in the Mullum Mullum trail at the back of the kinder. I would absolutely recommend this kinder to everyone!
Gum Nut Gully Pre-School is set in a lovely bush setting location, bordered by Mullum Mullum Linear Park and Currawong Park. It was establish in 1987 and has always catered for the area. Very dedicated caring experienced staff with a great friendly family environment. It was warded Overall EXCEEDING National Quality Standard by Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority in 2018. ​ Gum Nut Gully Pre-School offers a 3 and 4 year old early learning program.
Gumnut gully is a wonderful kinder and a lovely place for the 3-4 year old sessional kinder program. They’re one of the few to do bush kinder too. We have seen so much growth in our son since he started attending and will miss the community spirit and the amazing teachers there.
The most caring, supportive and amazing teachers! My son loved going to kinder to learn and see his friends. If you have a little one please send him or her to Gum Nut Gully Preschool, they will love it!PositiveCommunication, Quality, Professionalism
As both a parent at Gum Nut Gully as well as a volunteer Committee member in 2017, I have only high praise for the Teachers and educational program. I'll be sending my next child to Gum Nut Gully for sure.
