James has been looking after our Border Collie since Lou was 8 weeks old he’s nearly 7 now. I have complete confidence leaving Lou with James because he’s knowledgeable and compassionate and genuinely cares about our little fella. Booked an appointment recently for my dog's annual vaccination. The Vet was running late but I looked past it. When he finally came to greet us, he made a judgemental comment about my dog being crazy. Went into the consultation room and he was extremely rude and judgemental about my dogs behaviour whilst insinuating that I hadn't done enough to calm my dog despite having walked him for an hour beforehand and an additional 20 minutes waiting for the vet to meet us. Despite attempting to communicate to him that anxiety medication didnt work on our dog from previous attempts he still had a go at us for not making our dog take it. This overwhelmed me and made me feel anxious causing my dog's anxiety to grow even worse which caused him to stress and misbehave. I came out of this consultation room bawling my eyes out which has never happened to me before. Extremely disappointed with this particular veterinarian as he lacks compassion and empathy.
The vet could not establish what was wrong with my cat after a full day of having him and never even managed to take blood off him. I was told to take him to Murdoch animal hospital but wasn’t informed that the entire cost of a minimum of $3500 plus the $600 from the Greencross Vets; even though I Pay $80 monthly for my two cats was on me because they only affiliate with the Midland Animal Hospital and their emergency is only open from 5 to 6 pm. I live near Fremantle
We are always able to get appointments to suit our schedules for our two cats sisters - Beryl and Cheryl ! Always run to time in our experience - quick to notify and reschedule if problems and always kind and professional with our cats …Really appreciate the extra care and gentle handling - our nervous anxious girls always calm down in the vets hands…
The staff were amazingly helpful and kind. I rocked up, very panicked with my little bunny and they were so lovely and caring and kind and fit us in. I am very thankful for their kindness and not turning us away.

These guys are awesome!! Always make you feel welcome and really knowledgable. Their grooming is the best we've seen in the area and with the Healthy Pets Plus subscription you can get discounts on heaps of stuff. 10 out of 10!
Dr James and his team are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and most of all caring. They have looked after our cat Bobby for 1.5 years now and I wouldn't go to any other Vet anymore. Today, I picked up Bobby after he got his teeth cleaned, and I was given free dental treats, a bandana and on the bag it said "Bobby ". It's those little details that make a huge difference!! I strongly recommend them to all pet owners
i am disappointed My cat did desex surgery here last week, and then yesterday I took the cat for a recheck.Yesterday’s situation was that his wound was a bit open and accompanied by a faint smell. We asked the doctor twice. Is this normal? The doctor pressed his wound hard and said yes, this is normal! But when we went home, we found that his wound was bigger, and then we went to another hospital. The another doctor said that his condition was very serious and he needed another surgery. My baby went through another surgery.After the surgery I asked the doctor Why is it happenedThe doctor told me that because previous doctor use external sutures, the wound is easy to open. I am very angry because first of all, if already know that external sutures are easy to crack. Why use this method? Secondly, I checked yesterday. Why did the doctor say that there is no problem with the wound opening? These two reasons directly caused my cat to undergo a second operation. Such a doctor is too irresponsible and I will not come again.
