I ordered the butter chicken and overall it was quite nice. Although bits of the rice were crunchy? The butter chicken had good flavors but it was not your regular butter chicken. It was really rich with a slight tomato base that over powered but wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. Would like to try other things on the menu
We had both Thai and Indian food here and it was great. The staff is really nice and attentive. They also open til 10pm which is later than most places in Paihia.
Things have got even better at this location that we have visited yearly under the new ownership. Great to see a busy restaurant that delivers great tasting generously portioned meals. So good will be back same time next year.
Fast, excellent service. Clean. Very comfy chairs. Kids menu of Indian options or nuggets & chips. Outside a plain building with green branding so does not make you think good, inside lovely.
Every year we return here because the service and food are excellent. The owner always remembers us and our annual pilgrimage to paihia. Now there are 2 separate restaurants so we tried both for dinner. Both 5 star quality. You won't be disappointed. Remember to book.
Good food but I would expect more premium rice like basmati if you are going to charge $19 a curry. Thai is also good but no kids menu
