Story

Nestled in the heart of Carlton on the corner of Lygon and Elgin Streets, is an enchanting new pub from hospitality veterans and well-known artists Alison Whyte and Fred Whitlock. There’s not a parma or steak in sight as the Green Man’s Arms is completely vegan and vegetarian, with an Israeli influence thanks to head chef David Raziel.

Open 4pm-late every day, Green Man’s Arms is set to become the new local for vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike. The down-to-earth venue and its quietly impressive ethos is a welcoming space for all to enjoy the affordable menu of fresh Israeli pub grub among friends.

Great place to have a bite and share a few drinks! Good was great, everything we tried was great and good selection of drinks too and lovely ambience too. Cannot believe it took me so long to visit this place. Staff are friendly and helpful too, definitely recommend. For vegetarians, it is a paradise! Thank you.
Amazing vegan and vegetarian food with great service. We ordered about eight dishes between four of us and every dish was a winner. It was hard to choose a favourite because they were all so good. I am not strictly vegetarian but I would be with food like this
Everything was really tasty from the menu. Decent beers on tap. Menu is quite fancy, probably needs better descriptions, we had to Google some of the items! But a really pleasant pun with excellent food. Even if you are not vegan I certainly am not, give it a go, the food is immense!

The food is full of flavour and an their are quite a few dishes to chose from. I don't usually go vegetarian but this is one I would recommend you try. There is also an extensive range of beers on tap.
Ordered the burger, was delicious with the serving of fried potatoes with skin on! All other dishes on menu sounded n looked amazing too from friend's orders will defo be back for more. Fully Vegetarian!!!
Very pleasantly surprised with this pub. From the outside it looked dull and uninviting but inside was different; good selection of beer, clean and welcoming staff.
Awesome spot for an after work drinks, catch ups or even a casual date. Nice and cosy design and setup inside. There's happy hour drinks with half price on certain bevies which is can be an incentive. Also suitable for groups.
