Food is overpriced and the steaks are over cooked well done had hard charcol on it and our medium rare did as well. Management couldn't give a dam about it either. FYI @Management I have checked the address on google before I posted this as your response to previous reviews was do you have the right Great Northern hotel. Shocking Management response. This is not the first time either as I am always willing to give something a second chance the first time I couldn't wait for another steak to be cooked and asked if I could qt least keep my mash and veg to eat and the girl charged me for the mash and veg. It's a shame because it is a nice venue
Great service and food. Really appreciate Henry the manager for sorting out a table change even while getting slammed. Good sense of customer experience as a top priority.
Due to a spate of thefts, you now have to press a clearly labelled and easy-to-find button right at the entrance to the bottle shop. Pressing the button garners a near immediate response and a friendly greeting from a helpful staff member who will wait patiendly while you make your selection, and serve you quickly and efficiently. Service used to be pretty hit-and-miss here, but since they added the button, service is fantastic. Highly recommended.
Due to a spate of thefts, you now have to press a hard-to-find button to gain access to the bottle shop. If you’re lucky a staff member will let you in. If you’re even luckier, they may deign to serve you. They will never speak to you directly but will flirt with or swap expletive-laden stories with their coworkers while ignoring you or rolling their eyes at you. Avoid at all costs
Genuinely one of the most expensive bottle shops I've seen.
