Excellent selection of food, including hot food salads and sandwiches pre-made or made to order. Friendly staff and reasonable prices vegetarian lasagne and salad was $12.50. My favourite is the chicken schnitzel sandwich - maybe not so healthy, but tastes great!

Grass Roots Cafe in Telstra House Adelaide is a very modern well designed cafe. Outside there is an umbrella covered alfresco, which would be ideal to use in the summer. The menu offers excellent breakfast, lunch or cocktail options. There brochure reads; "We Cater. "No more boring sandwiches!". We enjoyed a delightful lunch on the go, $8.50 pp Wrap & baguette with two very good latte's. The service was good, even though the cafe was busy. Even though this was an unplanned lunch, we left well nourished and satisfied

Good selection of lunch time meals plus plenty of good options for a drink. Sit inside or out depending on the weather. Food choice does run low towards the end of lunch so get in early if you're fussy.

Located on the ground floor of the Telstra building in Pirie St,  Grass Roots offers a selection of conventional and healthy choices for breakfast and lunch. The coffee is good with options to dine in or take away.

Gotta agree with John. One girl there is very snooty. I have said that I wouldn't go back again, but I have thought better of it and given them another go, only to be disappointed yet again.  It is very close to where I work otherwise there isn't a chance in hell I would go out of my way to go there. If u want food, stuff the customer service, then this is the place for you!

I decided to give these guys another go after having a bad iced latte a few weeks ago, well today I ordered the same thing, it was still disgusting, felt sick for about 3 hours after, even my go worker tasted the coffee and was disgusted with it, since the new owners have taken over I cannot recommend this cafe

We went to this cafe for breakfast . Service was pleasant attended by suchi food was fresh definitely both the service and food deserve 5 Stars

Smoothies are good but overpriced, schnitzel sandwich is an absolute crime. The schnitzel is way too thickly crumbed, it's like eating piece of bread with another, soggier piece of bread inside.
