We have just completed a 2 night stay. We bought the package deal. Excellent choice. First night we dined in reasturant and enjoyed the 3 course menu. All 3 courses were excellent. The entire experience was good from the moment we checked in. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They provided us with a breakfast box for our 2 night stay. The bread , baked on site was still in oven, so we picked it up later. All ingredients were good. The cabin was also good with a fireplace in the corner.
We attended the New Years Eve event with friends who live in the area. There was a set menu but my husband and I have dietary requirements and these guys went out of their way to accommodate vegetarian and gluten free. We were surprised by cute little gluten free buns and a special main. Thanks so much team...it was really appreciated!! The brewery is large with plenty of seating inside and out on the deck. There is also a large grass area you could sit on.
The cabin was very spacious 1, clean, comfortable and well set out. We spent the Sunday afternoon on the back deck listening to the live band at the brewery. The staff could not be more friendly, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast on Sundays is a hot and cold buffet and they provide you with a box of supplies for the other days of the week. This includes local apple juice, fresh milk, freshly baked bread, homemade muesli and lots of other stuff. We ate dinner in the brewery restaurant and were extremely happy with our meals. The location is secluded but not far out of town and near many good wineries and attractions.
As a country facility, it is great. However, in an increasingly complex world, the brewery must compete with those further afield especially in urban areas. The kitchen produces amazingly enjoyable food. The wine selection is excellent. The beer - pass the brewer isn't abreast of current trends. Malt driven, low hopped beers are passe!
Great little brewery making some great beers. The food & service in the restaurant is amazing. We stayed in one of the cabins for 3 nights & loved it. Very comfortable & cosy. Not far out of town but far enough to be away from the lights & noise. The owners are very friendly and welcoming.
Absolutely amazing - wanted to do this for years but stopped by drought and COVID, so wonderful to finally get out here and experience the very best of this remarkable region. Cabin, location, staff, food, beers, gin bar, inclusions, price, all beyond reproach. Not very often you leave a holiday to go back to work being 100% happy with everything, no complaints at all, but that's precisely what has happened for us. We'll be back!
A male staff member with an accent was very lovely and provided us a suggestion on some nice sight seeing spots. The IPA and Porter were nice if you like more a malty developed flavour. Stay away from the lemon myrtle chilli beer, I like all of those things, but that didn't do it for me. We didn't try the food, so I can't comment. They were a little under staffed. Nice atmosphere and it looks like they're trying. Only took off one star as the female wait staff initially didn't want to seat us without a booking even though we're were only staying for a beer and the place was still empty. My suggestion for the future would be to ask how long we would stay and see if there was somewhere that could accommodate us properly.
Stayed for 2 nights in a spa cabin. The accommodation was STUNNING, everything was thought of down to the fire being pre set with kindling, honestly just beautiful. Brewery was great, beer was fantastic and the food in the restaurant was to die for. We will certainly be back again and again.
This is truely a must stop if your in Stanthorpe. The beer is gorgeous and the strawberry cider is an absolute must!! Just a shame they don’t bottle the cider or I would have bought heaps to take home. The staff are so friendly. Well Done we most certainly will be back!!
Had a fantastic few days here with our dog. The cabin was great, the food at the brewery was wonderful and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Would recommend to anyone.
