I was really happy with the service. The guy at the counter was just super happy to be there and serve us.Good value but no kofta balls as ran out. My favourite was the salad with avocado, roast veg and sunflower seeds it was delicious. The peanut butter cheesecake is also great.

When I was looking for an Indian flavoured meal I got to know about Govindas. Closer to Brisbane city offices where they serve multiple meal options for rice, curry, kofta, sweet, samosa and so much more.

I visited quite a number of times. When dining in, the quantity and experience depends on the person attending the counter. Its never consistent. Quantity wise, sometimes OK sometimes less; mostly less. Some offer papad, some don't. But, they are very sincere in selling extras. When I think of visiting here, all these uncertainty involuntarily comes to my mind and holds me from visiting even though I am a vegetarian and prefer satvik food. Whole spirituality is about peace isn't it? Oh God! : Sorry about that!

Food is very ordinary in quality, too much turmeric in the curry, rice is cheap. Service was surprisingly ok. Tables, tray and the whole atmosphere is unhygienic. aircon They actually intentionally try to put very less quantity on plates so that next time customer go for bigger costlier plates which has unlimited option. They think they are doing charity for us. Sometimes you feel cheap people always act cheap!!!! AVOIDABLE place!!!

Excellent value for money. Very cheap and large portions. Couldn't even finish it all, had to take the leftovers home. Great flavour. Koftas were amazing with the chutney.

Amazing value for money. The all you can eat lunch special includes a drink and dessert. The food was delightful and there were plenty vegan friendly options.

Govindas is a fabulous vegetarian restaurant servicing Brisbane's CBD. It is situated on George Street and is quite a convenient walk for lunch. The food is fresh and fabulous. I don't know how they do it, but each dish is extremely yummy. The issue I have when I visit here is which dish/es do I want?! The selection is great and healthy and sometimes I find it hard to choose between favorites!! The prices are really very affordable - you can get a FULL meal for less than $10! Well worth a try - I highly recommend!

Prices have gone up recently and portion sizing has gone down dramatically, containers for takeaway have gotten smaller and seperated for rice and curry.. absolutely ruined this place. Look at the photos. Lost a very regular customer.  Your food is delicious, but don't go down the greedy path.

Govindas is one of my favourite vegetarian quick stops! Tastes cooked with warmth and always leaves me feeling content. Sizes are generous, especially for the price, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. I recommend trying the Refresher. It is literally that.Food: 5/5
