Such a mainstay of our children's enjoyable and free experiences in Mackay.nnI've been coming here since I was ten and it first opened. The library is beautifully kept by lovely staff and the facilities are clean and tidy and they have a great variety for kids toys in the home corner as well as some other puzzles, magnetics, duplo, vox books, too much to name.nnSpecial mention to the librarians that run the story time, toddler time, and baby bounce programs. The programs are a staple for new parents in the Mackay region even 7+ years on I see this.nnAmple parking when no programs however close enough to walk to Mt Pleasant Shopping Centre too.

Recently joined the Gordon White library and have been extremely impressed with the service. The librarians are knowledgeable,   pleasant and eager to assist with any help required. A very pleasant  experience and so pleased to be a member of this great place, well done!

A very calm and quiet place for reading. kids can play and enjoy together. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Friendly staff and enjoy getting my books, magazines, and other things on loan as well as the ebook facility.nI get an email of any new activities  available and reminders  for the return of my books.

Up to date with books. This library within a few days can have books ordered from city library.nI really like the quiet set out of library and staff go above and beyond
