They are just ripping money off from clients. Go to good life if you just wanna loose your money. Doesn’t matter you go with month to month plan or contract. If you verbally give them notice it’s means you are trapped in good life Gym’s scheme where they start playing with policies. I gave them notice for cancellation but after 2 months they are saying we contacted you regarding membership, they didn’t called me for membership, they just called me for training. They are well trained in making people’s pockets empty, not trained in fitness sector. I personally feel getting ripped off from Goodlife gym Gym. It happens with me 2 years ago as well but on that time I thought it was my mistake, but I was wrong. They good technique to get money out of clients pockets. Learned from mistakes. Not going to good life gym rest of my life and I suggest others too. Hope this will help community

Great gym with multiple group fitness studios and 2 levels of general gym equipment etc. They also have a swimming pool for laps and a sauna which is a bonus! I generally attend group fitness classes before work and the instructor is amazing! Highly motivating and super fit! Only downside is the aircon isn't amazing but you make do. They've recently renovated and added reformer pilates which I am yet to try but have heard great things about. If you're new to working out or to group fitness this is a great gym to start as we have a good fit fam here! Regulars you won't be disappointed.
Im a platinum member for almost 2 years and I have 20 of my colleague who signed up with me at good life under corporate agreement with my company. As usual, after my usual schedule I go to the Cannington for my steam room session. I do noticed back to back each weekend the steam room turn off at 0300 pm but when you speak reception they fix it. This Saturday on 04 Feb I went to gym for steam room first of all reception was unattended for almost 20 minutes no one was at reception. I went in I was sitting in steam room which was not working. I dress back and went to reception but there was again no one. I called there was no one answer. We were 4 people in steam room waiting for steam room to kick off. Then Allan’s come 10 to 4 pm saying we closing which I understand while I was advising her the inconvenience to all members for past 40 minutes . She argued back saying you should have call and we did. Then she. Was like I don’t care I am the only one here. Then I explained this is the gym issue not mine. She started verbally abusing me yelling at me in the sauna. Then I ask her name which she refused first. I change went back into reception to grab the name in return she gave me here and started arguing in a very unprofessional manner and asked me to get out. I am corporate professional we deal with paid client all the time so being in client facing role I have understand of the tricks and trades of customer service. The way the whole situation was handled there was totally conflict driven and I felt disgusted the way I was treated . Yes the sauna was shut early then advertised and it’s repetitive issue which I understand it happens it’s life. The way Allana treated and handled the whole situation I felted gutted and abused by her. He tone was very attacking and her body language . She pointed fingers at the door telling get out infront of other member.
Gym is spacious. But, most of the machines are rusty and old, specially leg press and other cable machines are not safe to workout. I don’t recommend this gym personally. Revo and snap are very good
Much easier to get out of jail than canceling your membership with them. I advise anyone who wants to join goodlife, DON’T. Because once you don’t wanna go to gym anymore, they won’t leave you alone and charge you as much as they can. I was so happy and relieved to finally end my membership with them. in addition, so many easy going gym around that you can join and cancel your membership anytime you want without being charged. personal trainers are more trained to rip you off than actually help you with your physical goals. When I joined them, I repeatedly told them that I have experience with lifting weights so I don’t need a personal trainer. They said Okay. But after a month they took $50 from my bank account without letting me know. When I spoke with them, they told me that it is their policy so they had to charge me, and guess what ? I couldn’t get it back. Nowadays, anyone who asks me about my experience with goodlife. “You know what my answer would be “. Never ever again.
I've been an active member for over a month now and I am very happy with the staff and the classes. Although, I am a little disappointed with the quality of the gym equipment. Most of the equipment are old and should be replaced. So far with my experience, I've only had issues with two staff members one of which has been fired. Overall, I am satisfied with the experience at Goodlife Cannington. I paid a little more for the reform pilates classes, which is worth it. If you're ever planning on visiting, look for Chris, Paul, Beth, Alana, Lily or Tim. I absolutely love them and they're super helpful!
I called them up on december 2022 to ask about the end date of my membership and ask if they can cancel it after and they said they did but turns out one of the guys there didn’t do his job properly and didn’t put the 30 day’s notice for the cancellation and now i have to keep paying them until 17/02/2023. I told them if they can make it stop paying cause i dont use the gym or even live in WA anymore but they said i still have to pay for it until the cancellation finish. I really wish I remember the guy that i talked to last December on 23/12/2022 So in summary if you want to cancel your membership they wont put in the notice and they will keep taking your money Of this is how you guys make your money i hope its worth it and god bless My suggestion for people that thinking of going to this gym is dont the equipment is not that good anyway just go to genesis in Bentley they have better equipment and way cheaper than this gym
Terrible gym, I’ve been to a lot throughout the years and good life Cannington is the worst of the lot. Not only are they rude, dismissive, and unapproachable but the gym itself is in dire need of a complete renovation. The equipment is old and shoddy, the lockers don’t work, staff happily walk through the changing rooms when people are getting changed, and the overall vibe is off. Overall, it’s clear all they care about only is money and not about customer service or goals at all, I urge everyone to not make the mistake of signing up to the worst gym in WA.
Terrible gym plaques around the building saying lock up at own risk stolen items are no responsibility of gym, I believe the gym staff are involved in the thieving! How embarrassing and degrading not only that casual entry is over priced, dry and twisted jokers gym, avoid at all associated time.
