Very good. We ordered chicken chop suey & combination fried rice & a scoop of chips. Everything was exceptional and the meat was good size. The only negative was a salty chop suey :-
Very popular and efficient, found the food tasty and reasonable priced.
Had fish & chips before. Verdict: good, above average from other takeaways. This time, tried the Chicken & Chinese Sausage fried rice. Very good amount of meats. My 2 small gripes are the rice was a bit too oily & the ginger taste was very strong. Maybe cut back a bit on the oil & ginger. If I am not wrong, fried rice doesn't usually have ginger as a seasoning. Hopefully, the owners will take notice of any feedback here. I definitely recommend this place!
Fish is huge, great value and still crispy even though we were a bit late picking up. Loved the chop suey and fried rice too; was a touch on the salty side which was fantastic for me, but may be too salty for others.

Always tasty and ready in the time they say if I call ahead; if I order in store it is a reasonably short wait. Always a pleasure to get a kai here
Fantastic traditional Kiwi takeaways offering old-school European and Chinese classics. The lemon chicken is great you have to order rice as an extra. Also excellent spring rolls. The hot dogs are frankfurter-based, not sausage-based, so they're the only item I'd say needs improving. Donuts are A+
Ordered $40 pack for 3. Wow, could easily have fed 4 or 5 adults. Quality vegetables in packed containers. Definitely did not skimp on the meats, deliciously tender. My son local said it will be their future go-to Chinese takeaway outlet. Ladies were lovely, great service.
This is definitely the best Takeaway shop in the lower half of the North Island. For burgers, chinese or deep fry, you will be impressed! The owner/operators are super friendly and efficient too.
