Very disappointing. Tarakihi battered fillets and chips. Batter soggy and fillets barely warm inside. Wasn’t cheap! In the bin it went and I opted for poach egg on toast. Go to Rugby Street Takeaways as it’s the best well good fish n chips in Palmerston North.

Very efficient and food was tasty and good portion size. Probably one of the best spring rolls I’ve had in a long time

Came to Palmy from Brisbane Australia and had tasty Kumara Chips and Paua Fritter

Possibly the best local fish and chip shop. Fish are always fresh, nice and crispy hot chips and huge range of other take away choices to try.

Fast and delicious food, friendly staff.

Very good quality.  A little on the pricey side though.

Worst fish and chips ive ever had, chips were limp and soggy, fish had very thick batter which was not cooked and parts of the fish were raw. We rang to complain and they were very rude and would not accept any of the comments  we made so went back and plonked them on the counter and demanded our money back, they refused saying it was really hard to cook snapper and we took too long to pick them up which was not correct.  Finally they refunded half but would not acknowledge how bad these fish and chips were, arrogant, rude and not a clue in the world how to cook crisp fresh basic fish and chips. The oil tasted old and stale like it had been reused endlessly…my advice is to give it a wide berth. By the way 3 fish and one scoop of chips was $44…outrageously greedy.
