Golden Hot Bread

Lovely little bread shop tucked away in a small arcade off the main streets in Port Macquarie . Very friendly staff . A few tables outside to enjoy your treats or lunch. Meat pies look great. I tried the Vietnamese Port Roll today. Very tasty ! Will come back for a coffee and a pastry . Can recommend dropping by . Very popular with the locals.

Best kept secret in Port Macquarie! The shop is tiny, and hidden away underneath the Majestic Theatre off Clarence Street, but worthwhile making the effort to walk past Subway to get to it. The Vietnamese Pork Roll is fantastic, and so is the Vietnamese iced coffee! I can also recommend the meat pies, cakes and regular coffee as the Golden Hot Bread shop is my go-to for lunch when I am visiting Port. And as a bonus, they also sell great freshly baked bread and rolls.

Looks can be deceiving, much better coffee than Gloria Jean in my opinion. I love their pies and cakes. Tony and Hini the Vietnamese coupe are always friendly and up for a yarn. Going there is one of my pleasures to start the day.

Pork roll was great, awesome level of heat if u say yes to chili. Cheese and vegemite scroll was huge n tops too!!

My husband took me to this little place tucked away at the bottom of the shopping centre and said you have to try their pork roll I was like why not this was on our 4th day of our 1 week holiday I had already tried so many different foods in those 4 days but this amazed me absolutely beautiful I couldn't get enough of it the service was as fantastic as the food thank you so much Tammy and luke mills from the walcha caravan park

Banh Mi adequate at best. Definitely not the worst I've had, or the best. If this is on par with the best in Sydney as Per previous review...then people really need to try these in Richmond/Footscray in Melbourne. It has potential...but seriously lacking in Cucumber, coriander, chilli, spring onions despite asking...and meatball if your preference. Bread Roll itself was delicious. Worth $8.90?...definitely not in Melbourne...but for here...ok. Girl behind the counter was far from friendly...maybe having a bad day.

Best Banh Mi in Port Macquarie. Generous filling, crunchie bun and totally the best, also I really like the vietmese meatballs in the banh mi. I swap from pork to vietmese meats. Nice lady who works in thhe family business. Nice vietmese coffee.

On par with Marrickville pork roll Best pork roll in Sydney! Actually spicy chili, meat to pickle ratio was on point. Salad roll was also strong. Would definitely recommend.
