I went here for lunch today with some friends and it was lovely, great location next to the waterways, ample parking available outside and the carpark opposite. Order was taken by Grace, extremely helpful and friendly customer service, I ordered the chicken karage burger and chips , didn't take too long, was hot and fresh, good sized serving. Lot's of variety of seating, very busy for lunch.
Great & reasonable place to eat, there were good options on the menu, and the cocktails were great! It wasn't too busy while we were there, there was an event on, in an area cordoned off but it didn't affect waiting time for food or anything. We were sat by the water for the evening which was lovely. We didn't have a booking but there was no wait time for a table even though we were a large group.
We were a group of 18 on a Wednesday night. I had booked online but called to confirm, and they didn't even have to look for my booking. They were already aware and prepared for us, which was nice. We had one long table set up for us, in a corner, which worked well. It was very warm when we arrived, but being able to open the doors for breeze fixed that quickly! All food was really good, and we didn't have to wait long at all for the meals to arrive. Staff were friendly and efficient. Cocktails were also on point. Definitely good value for money. Highly recommend. Thank you again.
Our experience at Gold Coast Tavern was exceptional and I would highly recommend this venue for a special celebration, a luncheon, dinner or simply enjoying a few beverages whilst listening to a live band.nnWe recently organised a few events elsewhere but they came no where near being as enjoyable and as professional as this venue.nHaving such a good experience we put that down to having professional management and overall great choice of staff.nnThe atmosphere was impressive being the venue was nicely designed, clean and enjoyable with a band playing in the back ground.nnThe menu had a good selection of meals to choose from, the price was competitive and the food was delicious.nnThe staff were professional from hello and went above board to see that our group booking was handled with a warm and inviting greeting.nnOur table service was prompt and the staff had a great attitude when it came to customer service.nnThank you for a memorable and great experience.nBeing locals we will definitely return and happy to recommend your venue to others.
I went there on a busy Thursday night with my friends visiting from Japan.nWe ordered chicken schnitzel, fillet steak, prawn pizza, and calamari.nnThe steak was super tender and cooked to perfection, and the calamari was honestly the best I’ve ever had!!nThe prawn pizza had heaps of prawns and came out fresh and hot—straight from the oven.nnThe female server who looked after us was amazing—her service really made me want to come back again.nI should’ve asked for her name… regret it now!nnWe sat near the kitchen where we could see everything happening, and a guy named Cedric was working there—he was absolutely fantastic!nHe had the best smile and was super efficient and careful, making delicious food with great energy.nnAll the staff provided amazing customer service.nnI’ll definitely be back again.nnThank you so so so much!
