My daughter has been riding at Gold Coast Equestrian Centre for nearly 3 years now. She has progressed from riding the gorgeous school ponies to jumping and competing at 1m+. With no background of horses in our family we were unable to find any riding school where she could ride at the level that she wanted and follow her passion until we started here. It is a professional riding school with fabulous coaches and a lot of emphasis on safety and care of the horses. And on a beautiful property with great facilities.

Our daughter started with GCEC about 4 years ago after we relocated from WA. When she was diagnosed with dyslexia, we were told that horse riding would improve her literacy and learning ability. The caring support and attention to detail we have seen the GCEC apply consistently in all their riding lessons over the years have been impressive and the outcomes for our daughter have been overwhelmingly positive. As parents, there is no greater pleasure than to watch your child thrive and mature into a resilient, high achieving young woman. I think her experience with horses (which has only been at GCEC) has contributed significantly this.

I had a trial lesson that I was really disappointed with. The instructor was playing on her phone at the start of the lesson and not even looking at me. I am experienced rider from another discipline and when she picked up something i was doing incorrectly I didn’t understand what she meant so it never got corrected. There was also no follow up after despite when I booked I communicated I want d I going lessons
