Very poor customer service at 10 am on 29/02/2020. Store had 2 female employees working counter who were only interested in talking to each other. Didn't inform me when my coffees were ready, not interested in customers only interested in talking to each other. Will be informing all my social media friends of my experience.
Cannot speak highly enough of this Gloria Jeans, and especially the new? staff here! In the past, although the coffee was nothing to complain about, I had found some of the younger female staff to have had not-so-friendly attitudes and be a little stand-offish - I would even go so far as to say a couple were just plain rude, acting as if serving customers was a nuisance and then continuing their ‘social-life’ conversations with other staff members as if you weren’t there. BUT the last couple of months has brought a change of staff and this in turn has brought a complete change of atmosphere. The whole dynamic of this place has changed, with friendly and courteous A+ service, always with a kind word and a smile - there’s even a lovely young lady who somehow remembers my order! And last, but not least, the fantastic coffee you can expect only from a Gloria Jeans! So to the new owners/staff here, thank you for making this such a great little coffee spot - you’ve certainly won me back!
I love going to Gloria Jean's for a good White Hot Chocolate. Frankston Gloria Jean's never disappoints. My Hot drink is always the right temperature and so smooth to drink. Thank you to the staff for always making me a satisfied customer whenever I come around.
Coffee flavour is not too bad but my piccolo is too foamy
Door open, as I enter girls smiles and says we are closed. This was 5pm on a Tuesday. 1. The adjoining mall is open till 530pm 2. Google lists the store open until 6pm 3. Gloria Jean's own website lists the store open until 6pm Seems like no one actually knows what's going on. Why anyone would bother with Gloria Jean's is beyond me. They think they are a Starbucks, but operate as a local mum and dad store.
The service here is incredible, not sure who the young blonde haired barista was, but she was always up for a chat and created a wonderful atmosphete... Not to mention the coffee and food were exceptional. Just what was needed on a cold thursday in May. 10/10 would drink here again. Music was ok.
Absolutely horrible, go in 5 mins ago and get a hot choc and ask for a skinny hot choc, only to watch the girl proceed to use full cream milk. Some may not no the difference but as a 15 year barista I do. Being lactose intolerant and not liking liddles milk I resort to skim milk as it contains less of the lactose proteins. Will be shying people away this Gloria Jean's in future as clearly your staff don't care or don't listen to the requests that people make and pay for I might add.
Reasonable coffee, chai. The cakes and muffins are not fresh. I don't like my muffin warmed up. It was stale. I have eaten cheesecake and slices here and they are not fresh. Very disappointing.
