One of the staff members behind the counter was coughing and spluttering in her hands while simultaneously making coffee.. absolutely disgusted. They didn’t put the correct sized coffee lid on my take away coffee! This lead to spilling everywhere in the car. Won’t be going back here again that’s for sure

If there is a reason this Gloria Jeans is still standing in Penrith I can guarantee it's because of the owner and his team. Always a warm welcoming experience. You will be satisfied with what the owner has to offer when expressing his best recommendations. Take his word for it and do it! You won't be disappointed. Thank you to you and your team for always being so friendly.
Went to have a creme brulee and it was one of the best I have ever had, the staff were amazing and polite and very helpful, also had a toasty which was also totally amazing. I'll give then 6 stars for quality and service, will definitely be returning to this place very soon
Had to make my coffee 3 times, asked for Irish nut latte, 1st they didn't put the hazelnut, cream, green sprinkles, white chocolate, 2nd they didn't put the cream or sprinkles. I asked for it to be remade properly and she said it was. Showed her the list of what its suppose to be in it and her response was well you didn't ask for that in there, do you want it, to which I responded I want it the way it says on the menu on the website and she said no you have to ask for it. I put this down to pure laziness and bad customer service. There was 3 people in the store and the tables and couches were filthy with food crumbs everywhere.
My favourite coffee shop. The workers know my order off by heart and always make it well! The girls are great conversation and are always welcoming. It's the best place to have a catch up with girlfriends and take a date. I hope it never leaves.
No longer a Gloria Jean's franchise, it is now Cafe Cherry Bean. I would have given 5 stars but I will wait until my next visit, however, they have the best coffee I have ever tasted.

Nothing wrong with the coffee or the service from the lovely staff. The chocolate drink my wife had wasn't very strong. In general we find GJ's hot chocolates to be insipid to say the least... My wife & I visited to have a romantic date but this was frustrated by the fact that the place is designed with hard surfaces which make it noisy plus, the low square single lounges are too low, have no arms & are difficult to get out of; they are worn out & the the cushions give way beneath you - they need replacing or reupholstering. They have a wooden frame at the back that stops you from sitting back on to relax, so you have to bend forward to communicate. It feels like you are not encouraged to relax and stay for long because the wooden chairs inside are not comfortable either. Not a romantic experience at all.
Just another typical boring bland Gloria Jeans. Support local small businesses who have invested staff and actually care about service and quality products. If you have to buy a coffee from a chain try Donut King their at least better priced and have fresh in house made donuts.
