I purchased 12 lactose free slices for a staff luncheon, where one of the managers was Lactose intolerant. They looked lovely but when staff started eating them one staff member noticed that her slice had a large section of mould beneath the raspberry decoration on the top. The other staff immediately stopped eating theirs in case they all were not right. Returned the mouldy one to the shop only to be told quite rudely by the owner/chef that mould beneath fresh fruit was unavoidable and there was nothing wrong with the slice and it was OK to eat. I was very reluctantly given a refund for just the mouldy one, even though the rest were not eaten. I thought an apology would have been appropriate - I realise that when using fresh fruit problems can occur, but to be told that it was acceptable to eat, did not entice me want to return again.
Hi, I orded a Croquembouche for my wifes 40th birthday. It looked very impressive with the spun sugar and toffee all over it, as it was a focal piece on the table that everyone was talking about. Once the formalities of the night were over and we got to taste it, IT WAS AMAZING. We had a combination of chocolate and vanilla filled profittor rolls which were beautiful. There was a few left over from the night and we ate what was left the next day and they were just as good as last night. : Thank you Belle Saveur, muchly appreciated. Chris.
Not only is this an excellent place for a treat, the Cafe supports Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy Australia in find raising events throughout the year. What an ourstanding community minded business!!
Delicious cakes, great variety, good service and value for money. For the price you pay at some other places, you get a fresh delicious cake you will love.
Wonderful cakes....macaroon tree cakes are spectacular....cafe is great....thoroughly recommend
