A quiet family camp only 3 minutes south of Timaru, set in a relaxed rural setting.


THINGS TO DO:
Fishing (sea and river), track walks and horse riding. Rare Maori rock art. DB Brewery tours and easy walks to the beach and cycle through the scenic reserve or to the beach.


WALKING DISTANCE:
Hotel, TAB, bus stop, wetland area for bird spotting, restaurant, service station, mountain bike trails.


TWO MINUTES DRIVE TO:
Art gallery and museum, indoor pool, hospital, botanical gardens, Trevor Griffiths rose garden.


THREE MINUTES DRIVE TO:
Timaru city shopping centre, movie theatres.


FIVE MINUTES DRIVE TO:
Caroline Bay, golf courses, outdoor heated pool with a diving pool & slide, children's indoor play area and Patiti Point surfing beach.

April & Ian manage a fantastic campground/holiday park!nFriendly welcoming family atmosphere, with kids zipping around utilizing the swimming pool, playground and lounge/tv room. Clean and easy-access kitchen and bathroom/shower block.nGreat location on the outskirts of town, only a few minutes drive away.nMet some wonderful fellow guests who had been returning for years, due to the friendly management and easy-going atmosphere.nHighly recommend
We love it here. Last year we stayed in a cabin, this year we had a non powered tent site. Had all the space in the world. Facilities were great and well maintained. My children loved the pool in daylight and the tv room after dark where they socialised and played games with other families.nStaff were amazing and great to talk too
Over all fantastic to what we were looking for!! Currently staying here for the 3rd time in 12 months. Pools a Lil deep for smaller kids but with appropriate floaties and supervision absolutely no issues for my 6 year old, this is the 3rd room we have stayed in.. have stayed in cabin 13,11,10nAll fantastic rooms providing everything needed. Only things we brung was pillows linen wise. Owners are forever out and about maintaining the grounds and pool. Lovely quiet place for a wee family get away
Had a beautiful relaxing week in a nice quiet spot. One of our favorite places to go. Staff very friendly & efficient. Nice new amenities block which were kept very clean. Was good to be allowed a fire pot. Always makes a great ending to a lovely day.
Small little camp ground, great for the whole family including Dogs , Great for kids, relax not so far from the centre of Timaru. Toilets clean, good shower, and great price. Unpowered camping with great space
