Story

Glenelg Spices have been proud to bring authentic Thai and Malaysian food to our valued customers since 1993. in 2005 we opened Yakumi Japanese Restaurant to introduce our patrons to the fresh and vibrant flavors of contemporary Japanese cuisine. After the success of Yakumi, we opened the Korean BBQ in 2008, conveniently located behind the dining room of Glenelg Spices, where guests can experience a unique and exciting dining experience.

I have a feeling that the ownership and chefs have changed. I have been a regular here for nearly 20 years. The food has always been amazing, however I feel it has slipped a little. But no fear it is still quite amazing.
Seriously this place rocks. The food is juwt out of this world. Honestly you gotta try it. Sadly its gonna be closed for a few weeks as renovations are being done. i have been told by a local but guys and girls, get on it

Bought a bahn mi roll, the pork was full of fat and not even roasted..it was horrible bahn mi ...should be honest if they run out of pork and not serve anymore. Won't craved in bahn mi anymore..not in this place
Fantastic food, great atmosphere. Great service, attentive staff, good ambiance. Tried the spring rolls, salt pepper squid and pandan chicken, all were well-cooked, tasty and good portion sizes. Choo chee chicken is the best I’ve tried, Pad thai and Honey Chicken are also amazing. Highly recommend.
Frozen octopus, 4$ Green Tea Bag. The rest was alright. Probs should not charge $4 for a tea, bag I expected authenticity.
Quite good in past but something went wrong and they are either understaffed or extremely disorganised. Order not ready for over an hour when said it would take 30 mins. No apology, just they were busy.
This was a main size sizzling mongolian beef. 7 small pieces of beef did not make it a main. Very disappointed, it had been a favourite for years. Maybe its changed hands
