Definitely my favorite bar in Glenelg. Service and drinks are great and the venue itself is very unique for the area.
As a previous reviewer said if you like the 80’s - 1880’s and 1980’s this is the place to be. Live music, local gins and an expert mixologist - loved it. Highly recommended, will be back again.
Awful and should be ashamed. Mandatory disability training for all staff is required. Horizons Cocktail Lounge, you need to make a public apology and commit to better inclusive practices! You do not get to refuse somone a drink at a bar, just because they have a disability - do better!
Good vibe from 80s~90s, live music, nice selection of cocktails.
They would not serve me here because I am vision impaird and use a white cane AND I wasn’t accompanied by “a carer.” I’m 51, I have 2 degrees and I have travelled the world. Never had this been a “thing” until now. Shame on you Horizons Cocktail Lounge.
The cocktails and live music were great, the bar snacks were okay, but the venue itself is VERY tired and dated when it comes to decor and presentation. Not somewhere I would recommend for a drinks catch-up with friends.
Great drinks, but don't bother visiting if you happen to have a vision problem as for some reason they will decide not to serve you. Maybe wear sunglasses indoors so you don't treated like a toddler by a dim-witted manager.
You refused service to my friend today because of her visual impairment she was using her cane as you claimed she was a safety risk. Which backwards century/country are you people from? I hope she takes you to the Anti-discrimination authorities.
The service was amazing and the amazing bartender with the beard made us the best drinks. We’ll be coming back for sure.
Fake 5 star reviews. I’ll tell you the truth, staff need training in customer service and training on how to treat the disabled Drinks are average
