The hotel is located in a beautiful area near all the popular lookouts in Sunshine Coast. The website indicates that this hotel is "wheelchair accessible," but in reality, there are only flat pathways in the hotel, no equipped shower, toilet, or accessible parking. There aren't even disposable cups for rinsing in the shower, no toothpaste. We booked accommodation with breakfasts, but there was no sliced sausage, no cheese, no different types of eggs, no vegetables, no greens. There was absolutely disgusting powdered juice of one type.
An easy drive to the lookout. Would have been a great view if not for all the cloud's. There are toilets, picnic tables and BBQ facilities. You can also enjoy a short 800m circuit walk through the bush and maybe see some of the wildlife.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
700m incline walk wouldn't be an easy task for some. But the views are definitely worth it, if I had a friend on a wheelchair, I would push it up the incline for my friend to experience the view as well. That's how good it is. Went during near sunset time, beautiful views of the sun setting behind the glasshouse mountains. Would definitely go again and make myself suffer the walk up just to experience the view again. 10/10
Nestled in the heart of nature's masterpiece, the Glass House Mountain Lookout is a breathtaking vista that whispers serenity with every panoramic view. Perched atop a vantage point, it offers a celestial canvas where the sun paints the sky in hues of dawn or dusk, casting an ethereal glow on the ancient sentinels below. The landscape unfolds like a poetic symphony, with the iconic Glass House Mountains standing proudly amidst lush greenery. A gentle breeze carries the scent of eucalyptus, enhancing the sensory experience. The lookout provides a tranquil escape, inviting visitors to lose themselves in the majesty of nature's grandeur. Whether you're an avid photographer capturing the play of light on the mountains or a soul seeking solace in nature's embrace, this lookout transcends ordinary viewpoints. It's not just a destination; it's a sanctuary where time stands still, allowing one to savor the magic of the Glass House Mountains in all their awe-inspiring glory.
The view is so serene and simply beautiful. Parking can fill up quickly due to limited spaces. No rubbish bins in the area, so take your rubbish with you. Unfortunately, inconsiderate visitors left their rubbish in all public toilet's cubicles - disgusting!Visited onPublic holidayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
