Thanks for waiting... ar... no, I guess I'll get on the next one; even ran to get here on time... nevermind. This is one of those times I think it's ok to give the middle finger! Maybe I'm a 'boomer' but I think their online timetable could be clearer as well - 'mind the gap' in the user experience.
It’s a train station, let’s not get too excited.nnThat said, there is a car park and shelter, so I suspect that’s more than can be expected!
With a new suburb nearby, it's high time for this station to be rebuilt as they recently did with Tonsley, Ovingham, Woodlands Park, and Ethelton. The schedule board on the east platform is in need of replacement, and it doesn't work half the time. The shelters smell of urine. The bus interchange is rarely used now and should be removed... or given another route besides the infrequent 333 service.
Just a another reminder of the old port dock line from the 1970s, and when shempoe still had a station.
Close to Semaphore Road and easy access to the beach and shops. The Railway station is outdated, dirty and run down. Despite having multiple platforms, it only uses one. It's a hub for bus station connection and close to Port Adelaide's new development. Most stations in the northwestern suburbs are in a deteriorated state. It's a shame that so much development is going on while services like these are left behind.
