Story

Gino’s Restaurant has been in the Barakat family since 1981. Parents, Sayed and Deborah, paved the way with their recipes for success, and the restaurant has since been run successfully by children Simon, Charlotte and Dominique. The trio’s cousin, Eddie, has also been a big part of the Gino’s family, enjoying many years working in the restaurant.

Gino's offers a wide range of menu options, from traditional Italian family favourites, to delicious gluten-free dishes, and tempting desserts. We are a fully licensed restaurant and have a strict BYO policy limited to bottled wine only.

Ginos has been a staple speedy Italian cuisine on the landscape of ascot Hamilton dining precinct for the last 41 years is the Chiefs consistent service ! this Time service is quick speedy without fuss very recommended ! menu is traditional standard Italian fair spaghetti pasta pizza

The owner or pizza maker gave us terrible service made my kids feel frightened when told him our Neapolitan pasta doesn't have fresh basil or cherry tomatoes in it as the menu said. But only paste and his tone of voice scared the little ones then he questioned what number table and why we where on it, as the table was a 10 seating table and there was five of us even though we where told from the front of house server that it was okay as the place was empty on this Tuesday night. No fresh parmesan cheese. I just wish I looked at the reviews before I went there. The lady serving was great and I feel bad for her.

What a beautiful place, had the best food and was extremely well price when compared to the places around it. The atmosphere was breathtaking and the chef had a smile on his face. I would always go back there and will always be a repeat customer.

Food was okay. My spicy prawn pasta was pretty bland. Don’t think it’s worth $28 per serving but yea it’s in Hamilton so kinda understandable. Oysters are not the best but okay. Overall I guess it’s a 6 out of 10 experience for me

Im sorry but this is the worst place to be called an Italian restaurant ! What a shame ! Never have I ever had a carbonara with cooked scrambled egg in it !  Once the pasta arrive rest of us waited another 30 minutes for the pizza, obviously chefs do not care ! Never come back and won’t recommend this place. Pizza was awful ! Super doughy, no seasoning whatsoever. Rather have domino than this. Waiter was nice tho.

I can’t tell you how disappointed I was with the food - I ordered take away - I wanted to order some pizza and pasta that was still well priced but better quality then “Dominoes etc…. - I had the highest of hopes that a local small business would provide that. Don’t get me wrong you can get lovely pizza is Ascot and Hamilton but it will cost a pretty penny. The pizza from Gino’s was so over cooked and basically lacked any toppings. Don’t get me started on the pasta. Do not bother - it’s not that cheap and the quality is appalling.

Pizza came smashed in the box and upside down. The pizza was so bad that it was inedible and the most disgusting pizza I’ve ever ordered. The garlic bread was stale and tasted like vinegar !!  This entire meal was completely disgusting and I wouldn’t feed it to a dog !

Gino's is the best small business out there, they have the best online ordering system thats simple to use.  I like to order them not because they are a small business but because they have the best food. Even as a regular customer I will not get petty over the littlest of things from Gino's as that is what any decent person would do.

The Chef was not interested in our opinion of the Dinner.   Just dismissed  our opion.  We paid good hard working money at this restaurant...The Pasta was dry and hard like a leftover.  .  We will not return.   Very unhappy.  Could have been remedied...Food: 2/5

No, it's not an instagram buzz filled place youll find in your feeds. These guys just do old-fashioned food at reasonable prices. You can take your family to any time during the week.  The cheese pizza is amazing as is the prawn pasta. Service is prompt and there's lsay parking just a street away.
