Okay so you find yourself blindly walking and hungry looking for a really good plate of Italian pasta. Well look no further than Gina's. Yes you heard me right Gina's. We had a lovely experience last evening whilst getting dinner. Started with calamari then onto our mains. Wife got pizza, the rest pasta. Amazing. Throw in a side of great garlic bread and you've got yourself a meal. But wait marry those with 2 glasses of red wine also great and a Capri sunset and you've got an even better meal. But wait end it with, I challenge you, the best tiramisu you'll find in NZ. Yeah I said it!! Now you've got and excellent meal. So thank you staff and cooks for an amazing evening and meal.
The place is huge and can get quite loud. Our dishes took quite a lot of time. I had pasta with veggies, which was average in the best case. And there was no tiramisu. Overall, the place is to commercial to give the sense of an authentic Italian place.
Authentic Italian restaurant in the city. Great food and excellent service. brings you back to Italia Will come back very soon.
By far my fave Italian restaurant in Auckland CBD. We were the lucky ones to enjoy their current location on Symonds Street, before they move. When visiting I'd recommend a Salmone Di Pesce the salmon is fresh and is served with polenta mash! And try out their Tiramisu, they're not stingy with that masala brandy The service is amaze! I'd give an extra star if there was one see you guys at the new location
Wow....super delicious And very friendly staff. Surely will come back. The only thumbs down ....no coffee serve for an Italian resto....luckily across the road serves coffee.
We're quite late there last night for dinner, the service was great and in time. We ordered garlic bread, Ravioli and gnocchi were very tasty, Ravioli looks relatively smaller portion compared to gnocchi. Very tempted to try tiramisu but enough food at the time, will definitely try it out next time. Only one thing not perfect was that even the food was tasty enough but still quite salty. If you like salt, that won't be a problem...
Had dinner here with my work colleagues. Delicious food and amazing customer service from staff. Great atmosphere.
Great restaurant with friendly staff. I came with with work friends and we loved the dishes. I ordered the Gnocchi Al Ragu and it was tasty and good portioned, I would recommend to order this dish. A must try if your visiting Mt Eden
Food was great and tasted very Fresh, brilliant wine selection and amazing service by staff. Only reason it is not a 5 is it was a bit on the expensive side. Happily go again, but for special occasions only.
Great place to gang out with your family and mates. Food was nice and good sized serving. The chef was very nice and took time to say "hi" and checked out if we were enjoying our meals.Food: 3/5
