What a lovely place to go for delicious gelato! The owner was so friendly and humorous and I received great service. There was a wide variety of flavours to choose from, I got the wicked double choc brownie which was so good and not too sweet! Love it! Come on by and get a free one on your birthday!Food: 5/5

I got the ice cream for free because it’s my birthday. The owner is very welcoming and nice. The store got lots of options, and mine is pistachio, pretty decent and more on the sweetness side. Really made my day, definitely come back Food: 5/5

Gelatissimo on Lygon Street is a must-visit for gelato lovers! Their flavours are incredible – so creamy, fresh, and packed with taste. There’s a huge variety to choose from, whether you’re into classic favourites or more adventurous options.  The staff are super friendly and happy to let you sample before you decide. The location is perfect for a treat while strolling down Lygon Street. If you’re looking for top-notch gelato, Gelatissimo is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Such a cute little ice cream shop located right in the middle of the busy lygon street. Was taking a stall and just found it coincidently and it was quite hot too so perfect for a nice gelato or cream. They have good varieties of options and it’s not too much and confusing. There’s dairy and dairy free options too. I love dairy but had to go for non dairy. The man serving me was very helpful and honest. I asked if the mile or dairy were pasteurised and he was upfront and honest about it not being pasteurised. Anyways, he gave me couple of things to try and I decided to go for the mango sorbet. Service was friendly and helpful,and the shop looked  very clean and well presented. I loved the mango sorbet, it felt fresh and refreshing. Price was reasonable too. They don’t have seating indoor but looked like they had it outdoor seating. Anyways, who cares when we only care about ice cream.  Would defiantly recommend for some cream craving

I work in front of and always buy from you… today I asked for a 3flavours cone 9.30$ when I asked for the last one wanted to add chocolate  the lady said she could not put it in that one, telling me she can put it in a small one but charge me 5,60 extra!!? maybe she was new so I don’t want to be tough but  I always get a good amount of ice cream and today she charged me 9.90 for this… I am not very satisfied so I  am not sure if I would come back. Though, must be honest the ice cream is delicious but today I think for what I got it was overpriced and I am very disappointed

Got a free gelato on my Birthday! They got a nice kind guy helping me to decide the flavor the gelato tastes good, the place is nice and the staff is friendly. What a comboFood: 5/5

Went for the first time and enjoyed the dragon fruit lychee sorbet but it was hard to decide with so many delicious and original options. It was so smooth and fresh tasting, and a generous serve for the price. To be honest I'm surprised the place wasn't busier when I was there in Saturday night as it's the perfect after dinner treatFood: 5/5

Visited this great gelato spot on Lygon during a work break from the office, I was quite taken back by the flavours on offer! So many mouth watering options I can see how it's become so popular over the years.  I settled on honeycomb and it was great, not overly sweet either, just the right balance. The staff member on the day was very friendly and accommodating to my picky colleague, offering taste tests and answering questions. A favourite on Lygon for sure.
