Gelareh Applecross has become one of my favourite cafés in Perth. John, the owner, and Mohsen, the manager, have created a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. They have always been incredibly kind in letting me spend long hours studying there, and I truly appreciate their hospitality.nnThe coffee is consistently excellent, and Mohsen always goes the extra mile by beautifully decorating the top of the coffee and even adding extra chocolate powder, which is a lovely personal touch. It's these small gestures that make customers feel genuinely valued.nnThe service is outstanding, the café is comfortable, and the staff always make you feel welcome. Whether you're looking for a great coffee, a place to catch up with friends, or somewhere comfortable to study, I highly recommend Gelareh Applecross.nnThank you, John and Mohsen, for your kindness and excellent service. I'll definitely keep coming back!
We visited this cafe in the lovely spot in Ardross on a Sunday morning to have coffee with my family. It was a very lovely vibes with booth sitting at the upper level for a good vantage point and enjoyment.nThe staff were also a friendly and there were plenty of locals having nice coffee and dessert too with no pressure for finishing early.nOwner manager seems very family friendly too during my time there, with many family friends visiting.
One of my son’s favourite haunts for dessert close to home.nnWe have been going to Geláre since they opened years ago.nnUsual order would be their famous waffles served with the choice of ice cream flavours- optional : maple syrup & cream.nnThere are many other different offerings for breakfast, brunches, etc.nnOver the years we have noticed that they may want to look at better hygiene practices, especially as most times we go, many tables have been left without being properly cleaned. I usually bring our own antibacterial wipes to clean the table prior to seating.nnOther than that, waffles & their ice cream have been consistent & still very tasty & delicious.
Service was excellent! The waffle was so tasty. 10/10 recommend. Best waffles in Perth!!!
Freaking good breakfast with their waffle. This used to be where I always go for my Tuesday 1:1 waffle as a student. After so many years, this classic standalone gelares is still standing on well! Ordered their Croffle breakfast. Super yummy and their hot chocolate! A great start to the day in winter! Come early is the advise.
