Freaking good breakfast with their waffle. This used to be where I always go for my Tuesday 1:1 waffle as a student. After so many years, this classic standalone gelares is still standing on well! Ordered their Croffle breakfast. Super yummy and their hot chocolate! A great start to the day in winter! Come early is the advise.
There aren’t a lot of ice cream places around and unfortunately every time we have been here normally end of term celebration we have issues with non-attentive staff. This time we were welcome to 90% of the tables having old plates and cups left all over so selection for a table was very limited. When looking for staff two of the three were on their phones. Sitting here for 20mins in a quiet time still no cleaning and more phone time. Overheard two more groups complaining about the tables.nnAs I mentioned we don’t have much selection for ice cream shops so please make improvements because we do want to come back still.
I had a waffle here this evening and it was very disappointing. The waffle was cold and burnt, with a strong burnt taste that still lingers in my mouth. I’ve visited a few other outlets before and never had a bad experience, but this outlet was completely different. Definitely not worth it.
The food here was great. There was a blonde girl called Olivia who was quite abrupt and didn’t seem to want to serve us. The brunette girl she was working with was lovely however.
Nice quite spot, friendly atmosphere and service. We had a breakfast with servings more than able. Waffles with icecream and scrambled eggs with bacon with coffee of course. Will definitely come again. Thanks
