I love this place! The coffee is great, and the food is served with high quality. The owner always keeps an eye on how things are going and maintains high standards. Thank you for always serving me and my family the best coffee and food!
Absolutely amazing service and a barista that knows the difference between skim and Hilo milk! She double checked if I wanted the coffees made straight away or if I wanted to wait until my friends arrived so thoughtful!nThe menu is great with plenty of variety and eggs on toast available all day.nThe only downside is that it’s hard to find a spot on the weekends and the wait for take away coffee is long but it’s totally fine considering how good they are / busy they are on weekends!
Coffee was well made but lukewarm on a cold morning. Spiced porridge… oh dear… super bland where the “poached fruits” were a few old cooked berries and the “crunchy granola” was a tiny sprinkling of oats. The spiced part seemed to be a bit of cinnamon on top but anything beneath the surface of this dish was plain and boring. Waste of $25 today.nnCustomer service was extremely friendly and chatty to regulars and very much the opposite to “strangers” like us.nnOld lady who runs the joint gave us that school headmistress vibe where you don’t want to say anything wrong or complain in case you get your head bitten off. Her rude and abrupt demeanour seem to be a common theme in the reviews here… why isn’t the cafe doing something about it???nnWill never return to Cheeky Boy. It seems to be an institution in this area but isn’t too interested in review feedback. I’m sure they won’t miss us.
After a beautiful walk around the riverside we decided to have an early lunch so we walked to this fantastic Cafe, yes it was Cheeky Boy in Applecross.nThis trendy well managed and vibrant cafe just explodes with fun and excitement it is very hard to beat the great location and the atmosphere.nThe sunshine was just glorious so sitting outside and watching the world go by was the order for the day.nWe had beautiful tasting coffees and 2 huge Cotalettas with a great tasting salad.nWhat a way to spend the afternoon soaking up the sunshine watching the happy faces enjoying this relaxing cafe also eating and drinking 1st class food and coffeesnThe service is amazing and the staff are efficient and friendlynGo to this relaxing cafe and enjoy the lovely surrounding environmentnTrev
Rude customer service from the old lady with glasses. Been to cheeky boy espresso many times before and it was good. Service today was appaling. Plenty other options along the street so don't waste your time and money here.
