Put an online order through here a couple of weeks ago for some wines I can’t find outside of Tassie.  My order was processed quickly and arrived well packed.  A nice touch was a Thankyou note and a recommendation for a 2022 white we might like.  Thanks James, now we’ve found this gem I’m sure we’ll expand our ordering

Just walked halfway across Hobart to discover this place us no longer open. Please update your hours in the google business listing and not just your “about” content to make this clearer for people.

They didn’t change the business hours in google map so disappointed when I arrived.  I even checked on the website didnot mention it. Just so annoying when I thought it maybe the one place have wine tasting in the weekday...

Knowledgeable, professional and very helpful staff. A great range of wine available and a beautifully set out venue! I came in for something very specific Clarence Plains pinot noir - do yourself a favour and try it because I'd seen that this was one of the places to get it in Hobart. It wasn't a busy day, but the lady who helped me was with other customers trying some wine. She asked me if she could help, and very professionally was able to manage both of us. She had a great knowledge of the wine I was after and I was in and out of there in under 5 minutes... Which was perfect, as I'd stopped on my way out of Hobart. Will definitely stop in again when I have more time to try some wine with the expert knowledge of the staff! Thank you!

First discovered this place by chance a year ago when visiting Hobart so second time round, we took some friends and were not disappointed once again. If you're only visiting Hobart, good opportunity to try wine from across Tassie. Staff are extremely knowledgeable; we will definitely be back next time we visit!

As a regular, the wine range is broad with lots of Tasmanian wines for those 'try tonight' purchases...and there are always those 'special' interstate and international bottles that demand attention. Great selection with solid advice.

A great place to sample a wide variety of Tasmanian wines in one place. Thanks to Garry for taking the time to talk us through each of the wines and the wineries that produce them. It was a really relaxed environment and Garry is a fantastic host, he’s very knowledgeable and clearly enjoys talking about wine. We enjoyed a range of Tassie pinot noir plus some excellent whites and red blends. All in all a great experience, thanks very much Garry!

Excellent range of Tasmanian wines. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Great place to take visitors for an overview of the local wine sector and a wine tasting experience.

Had a fantastic wine tasting experience with James at Gasworks. He was very knowledgeable and engaging, which made our wine tasting experience fantastic. Very affordable and interesting - would recommend!
