Went for a special lunch to remember an old friend and family members passing. He was a regular diner at Garfish. The food was amazing. Special mention to the chef who prepared our chocolate dome which was so much fun to eat. Exceptional experience. Very good service. Try the passionfruit Martini. Pretty delicious. All our diners really had lovely dishes. Its a very pricey restaurant so for me, special occasion dining only. Of you have 2 cocktails, wine, 3 courses with a port follow, expect to pay $200 per head. Still, highly recommend.
Garfish had wonderful views down Sydney harbour. The food is varied, delicious and beautifully presented. The wine list provides plenty of options to pair with menus. The staff are friendly, professional and very attentive. Thanks to Amanda for looking after our group and keeping us well hydrated. Booking is recommended and we'll worth spending a lazy afternoon relaxing with friends.
Been here many times but my first time bringing my fish loving mum with me. The salt and pepper squid was nice with the chilli jam, dad liked it. Mum had the snapper pie, it came with big chunks of fish in a creamy sauce topped with crunchy pastry. The salmon and mash was cooked perfectly. Very good service as always.
First time at this restaurant and what a great find! The staff are excellent and very attentive. The drinks menu is great we sampled many cocktails! We had lobster, pâté, prawns, oysters….all fresh and delicious! You pick fresh lobster from the tank and it is cooked to perfection! It’s small and has views of the harbour! Will definitely be back
For years Garfish has been a stable for great fresh seafood in Manly, great service, good wine and an ever changing menu. I found a new favorite in the King Prawn Softshell Tacos next to the Snapper Pie and it has all the markings to become even better. I would hope they can widen the Tacos into more choices, they are well worth a try.
A long term restaurant in Manly and still one of the best. Great seafood. Highly recommend the Sri Lankan fish and King prawn curry and the Snapper pie. An earlier booking might secure you a table near the window overlooking the harbour side of Manly. Good service.
Terrific seafood, beautifully cooked and suitably accompanied. My barramundi was perfect the calamari tender and flavoursome. Great location too. Get a table looking across the street to enjoy a sunset sky.

Outstanding service and the most delicious food combinations. I always love this place for special occasions and today for Melbourne cup was exceptional
I was having a quick visit to Manly and found this place searching for somewhere to go for dinner. The staff were all very pleasant and welcoming, I just got a main, but the food was served timely and tasty amazing! Nothing to fault, and plenty of flavour. If I lived nearby I would be back regularly.
