I have recently become a member of Gallery 247 as an artist, and am so impressed.  Communication was quick and very personable.  The website seems very user friendly.  With the couple of questions I emailed I was looked after with a phone call and very kindly and professionally looked after.  Highly recommend.

Moving to Bluethumb which is easier to use and does better promotions.  After a year of no action I sold the only 2 works I had left on this site, mainly due to exhibition profile not the site. These works were marked as local pick up only due to size making it very difficult to post. Yet the site sold them to someone thousands of kilometres away to be posted and did not respond to my inquiry. They get their 30% and I'm stuck with a postage headache of attempting to just sneak it under the cut of limit which meant making a custom box, with that cost eating into what I will receive god knows when from them.

I have been associated with Gallery 247 since they first got started. I love it that if I contact Steve or the other employees they always get back to me. Makes going into art shows so much easier.

This is a fantastic service for any artist who wants to show his/her work. The options are terrific - Free, $10 a month or an upscaled service as well. All these options enable you to enter art in various shows around the nation. 10 out of 10.

I have found Gallery 247 service very good.   They have dealt with any problems I have had in such a friendly way.   I recommend this to all artists who want to sell or show their work to the public.   I have managed to sell paintings and enter to art shows over the last 4 years.

I had to use this site for a certain art prize and wanted to close my account after that. I contacted the Gallery247 to close the account and the image was erased but my name was still there. So I erased all the content as much as I could and tried to contact the Gallery247 again several times but no response and my name is still there. It is a privacy concern! You can't even handle the site! You should not exploit artists!

This website is a good idea, it gives artist a platform to showcases their work.  However, the term of membership is not very clear, I didn’t realise the minimal term of membership is one year after I signed up.  I was happy to sale one painting after listening with them for 4 months, after the delivery of the painting, they told me I would get the payment after 21 dayson their website clearly stated 7-10days, it seem strange as the buyers paid them straight away.  Now it’s 7 weeks, I’m still waiting, I contacted them 3 times received no reply.  How can they sustained a business like this? What is the point of this website? I’m not sure how I can get the payment from them.  I would be cautious about listing with this website.  Yan

Sold a painting through this gallery on the 6/12/2021 and the receipt said it had been payed. It was received by the buyer on the 10/12/2021. Up until today the 31/1/2022 I have not received any payment for my painting. I enquired about the delay of payment on the 11/1/2022. I followed up on the 15/1/2022 and the 24/1/2022 and I had no response both times, not even an acknowledgement that they are looking into it. Very disappointed!

I have recently sold a painting called Life in Flight - Nankeen Kestrel through Gallery 247, the communication between the buyer and myself through Gallery 247 was excellent. I posted the painting to the buyer and updated the Gallery 247 website which was a simple process. The buyer sent me an email once the received the painting with a photo of it hanging, which was wonderful to receive the feedback. Thanks Gallery247 for making the process so efficient and giving artists such as myself an outlet to sell art online.

Doesn't have a section to upload 'drawings' to an art competition, only 'paintings' so I missed out being included in an exhibition and possible prize because the curators thought I had submitted a painting. Very, very, VERY  annoyed. Update. My "paintings" WERE accepted but put into the wrong category because there is no 'drawing' section on 247. There are ONLY 2 categories - paintings or 3D artwork. Even if you choose 'pencil' as a subcategory, it is still categorised as a 'painting'. The Exhibition curator said it was a problem with Gallery 247, not them. All entries were 'paintings' and not 'drawings' unless it is OBVIOUSLY a drawing.  I work pencil on wood panel so, without having a 'drawing' subcategory, they just assumed it was a PAINTING!!! HOW would they know it is a drawing? Maybe just relabel the main categories.. Category 1. 2D artwork, subcategory painting, drawing, Medium... Oil, acrylic, pen, pencil etc. Category 2. 3D artwork...
