Fuschia Memorial Garden
"RHS Garden Wisley in Surrey, UK, is a tourist attraction and one of five gardens run by the RHS; the others being Harlow Carr, Hyde Hall, Rosemoor, and Bridgewater opening in 2021. Wisley is a large and spectacular garden covering over 240 acres. The site contains many formal and informal gardens, several glasshouses, orchards and arboretums. In addition, there are a number of small-scale "model gardens" which are intended to show visitors what they can achieve in their own gardens, and a trials field where new cultivars are assessed. Enjoy free access to the on-site cafe, restaurant and garden centre."

Amazing place to visit. You'll need more than just one day, bus it's more than worthy it, believe me. It's lovely specially during Spring, when almost everything is blossom; or when Autumn starts - you'll see those red/orange/yellow and all those different tones of green. There's swing benches towards the river, where you can have nice meals, plus many picnic tables across the park. Don't forget to visit the Greenhouse please check the timetable before going. And the small, but very informative and with interactive activities for the children to learn more about how to keep taking care of our planet. Check their website for more
What a stunning place! So worth doing the membership and visiting often, especially when then seasons change. There's also something new to see and explore. There are also plenty of cafes to choose from and the shop before leaving has everything you'll ever need. Amazing place for a family visit, a romantic stroll or a one time.
Wisley is a very special place! Lovely to visit in all the seasons! Lots of new additions since we went last , around 4/5 years ago! Particularly loved the vegetable garden where you can sit with a drink and admire all the beautiful vegetables! So much to see and photograph, lovely walks and vista's! Want to go back in autumn
Beautiful place to spend a day. Not far off the M25 junction 9. Although it feels a million miles once you get in there. If you can go during the week it would be a lot quieter. They organise loads of activities it has changed so much since I was last there. Its a place that inspires and helps relax you.
Love this place!! Every visit you see something you hadn't seen before. A calming place to chill and wander. Great for kids. Just beautiful. Plenty of places to grab a drink. Massive place which you could spend all day there. Shop is a little pricey but lots of lovely items. On Saturdays they have a music event on the ground which yet to go to.
A beautiful visit once again! A large place to explore and get lost in the beauty of nature. So many sunny spots but there are shaded areas and places for a picnic too. Would highly recommend for all ages. The glasshouses remain my favourite part - gorgeous succulents and tropical plants. Cafes offer a selection of delicious food and the garden centre is worth a visit on the way out.
For those of us in landscape and garden academia, this is a fabulous place dedicated to education. But if you are not in academia looking for something different to do on a day out, RHS Wisley is for you, too. What impressed me most is that the gardens are atypical. Sure, there is a rose garden, perennial border, and other elements commonly found in the best gardens, but the site also hosts some dynamic modern designs as well as test gardens. The overall experience was inspiring, and the garden ideas are scalable from grand estates to small, urban garden plots. If I'm fortunate to visit the UK again, RHS Wisley is on the top of my list for a revisit. Friendly, professional staff, too. For travelers, taking the courtesy shuttle from the train station is essential, but the directions on the website to find the bus is a little confusing for me. The train from London arrives on the back side of the station, so make sure you make your way to the station's main entrance where most of the busses park. For me, I exited the station on the wrong side, and after a helpful call to the garden office, I found the under crossing to the main entrance. The bus arrives on the hour, but sometimes traffic can cause some delays. Otherwise, a wonderful experience.
Is a very nice place for walks unfortunately some areas were closed and especially being winter I had the feeling I could've spent better almost £50 we paid for the tickets. The playground area for children was also closed. Fortunately the glass house was open but with some restricted areas. We still have some pretty amazing pictures taken on a cold, foggy-sunny day. Best to visit in spring - summer.
Delightful gardens full of texture, color, shape and fragrance. Perfect for families or couples or friends. Extensive walking, wear comfy footwear - you won’t want to miss anything due to tired feet! If you plan to eat there, check the hours. We missed lunch :
Really lovely gardens and our 2 year old is a huge fan of the kids park. There's sand, things to climb and a slide, plus loads more. There are lots of nice areas to sit for a coffee, including the new Hilltop area, which has been really well done.
