The Townsville Xerox Dealership is the regions leader in Photocopier, Multi Function Print Devices and Document Management Systems and Solutions. We also operate growing IT Solutions and Communication Solutions Centre along with our Copy and Design Centre

Story

Our business is committed to achieving a sustainable business model both in our business as well as assisting our clients to improve their carbon footprint.

The Fuji Xerox range of copiers and printers have one of the best records for energy efficiency and Fuji Xerox invented the EA – Eco toner. This toner has lower fusing temperatures that substantially reduce power consumption as well as actual toner usage. We also market and support a range of software including Fuji Xerox Software that increase control over printing thereby saving the environment.

We have been keen supporters of community initiatives towards sustainability including financially supporting the acquisition of the Cromarty Wetlands to ensure they are not destroyed by development, joining and actively taking a roll in Sustainable Townsville Ltd, presenting our record as educational case studies at conferences. We are also very keen supporters and sponsors of sport in our region.

We have also joined the Fuji Xerox Sustainability Program which is designed to increase awareness of sustainability issues across the entire organisation including all stakeholders and supply chain as well as reduce the carbon footprint. Three times, in the past four years we have won awards, in this program. In 2013, we won overall winner.

Mission

A common goal of our business is to provide a Best Practice offering to our customer. Globally Xerox is synonymous with excellence in the Document Management space and we have adopted this philosophy in everything we do across all our business. Roy Currie (Director) has over thirty years business experience with some of the largest corporations in the world. He holds accountancy qualifications and has owned and guided the Townsville Xerox Dealership since 1999.

Micheal Thorsen (General Manager) has twenty years industry experience of which eleven has been with Fuji Xerox. In his time at Xerox Micheal has worked in service as well as sales, including two years as Sales Manager, at our Townsville Dealership.

Whilst we are a fiercely proud local business, we have adopted industry best practice in everything we do. We have implemented the “360-degree” accountability model. We are focussed on customer service and excellence in delivery, committed to all our stakeholders and have chosen to strive for a sustainable business model in keeping with that of our major suppliers.
