Very fresh produce, busy place which means quick turn over of their stock. The only gripe I have is the poor service at the checkout. The checkout staff never smiles, never say "thank you" even when customers say "thank you" to her, she would completely ignore them. This poor level of service is consistent, ie any time of the day and any day of the week during opening hours. Fair to say that a service smile from the staff here costs more than the fruits if not hard to come by. If you don't believe me then experience it yourself next time you are in the store. Unfortunately I have to put up with this horrible check-out services as their fruits are fresh and cheap. Could this be the reason why they service is terrible and they don't give a toss? I wonder!!!!. I shall update again when the service level improves.

The produce is pretty good, but at times especially when late in the season they try to put aged fruit out as top shelf, have to be careful here but generally the produce is of good to very good quality. The service is almost non existant and I totally agree with J H - the checkout staff never smile and rarely do you get acknowledged. Its funny though, the moment I'm with my chinese flatmate, the smiles come out and they are talkative and seem to be of good humour. I put up with the grumpy staff because the fruit and veg is pretty good.

Handy place to buy all your fruit, veg and spices. Great prices and offers. Much better than big supermarkets. Can also buy other provisions like cans, sauces, rice, fresh warm french sticks etc.
