Attended a 21st at the Bridge Bar. Great view. Staff were very helpful. Music got too loud in the area of our function, eventually staff could turn the volume down in our section during 'speeches'. We were unable to order food via app or at bar setup for our function as POS system didn't have the latest menu so had to order at main bar. Food came in good time and what we ordered was really nice. Tables very wobbly due to the tiled floor. We had a great night of celebration with family and friends.
Great restaurant & bar with gorgeous river views, great menu variety and very tasty drinks
Went out with friends yesterday, the music was great but food & drinks awful and served late. The happy hour cocktails taste different to traditional ones, they are undrinkable and we have ordered all types all of them all awful. My gluten free bun was so hard and didn't eat it, wrong order was delivered so had to wait over an hour for one meal, just not a great experience especially these cocktails, we should be informed by bar staff that these were pre- maid and taste different so at least we could pay a full price a d get what we're were after. At least duty manager was apologetic...
Honestly very impressed with Friday's meals. Went on Monday night for a simple dinner after a long day of work & travelling and got the tacos which were HUGE and absolutely delicious. Went back on the Friday and sat in the sun and had a burger, which was overcooked, and a beer - not too upset about it. They easily accommodated my large walk in group prob 10+ and service was quick. Friday's is a versatile location with a beautiful view over the river, would be great for a tourist wanting a simple meal and a view to experience Brissy, good for work lunches or even just grabbing a drink! good all around.
The views from some spots aren’t great but it was great on the first table inside! drinks and food tasted amazing but the portions were too big. The staff were very helpful and friendly the whole time
I did not liked it at all, I have been to Friday's many times before. Every time we go with our 10 year old daughter and leave the place at 10. The security person yesterday was so rude to the kids, he just wanted them to sit at one place. His rational was that it's a pub, kids should not roam around. How can someone expect kids to sit at one place for 4 hours. If your place is not suitable for kids or if the security is not capable to manage because they are incompetent then you should stop entertaining families with kids. He actually came to my wife and told us that don't let the kids to to toilet alone, anything can happen. He made that place so horrifying for us and ruined our whole evening. Would never go back to Friday's again.
Food was ok. Steak was overcooked, but still nice. The Mushroom sauce was very underwhelming. The vibe of the place is good, staff were friendly and the service was pretty quick to bring the drinks and food. Overall it was nice, without being fantastic. Probably won't go out of my way to go there again.
Means may appear expensive but they are colossal. Go here if you're hungry and want to eat outdoors. Good beer selection on tap. Our large group did have some issues with some meals not turning up but those affected were refunded.
The worst Chicken Cesar salad ever. Cooks should know that chicken does not age well. This felt like a reused re-utilized chicken palmy chopped up for a salad. Hard like a rubber boot.
Didn't have a reservation and Marleen hooked us up with some make shift tables. Thanks to the team for promptly putting that together. Food and drink were great. And atmosphere was great too. 5 stars 10/10 would come again
