Good to see this store being progressively renovated - deserves local support!!

Love going here when I visit family in ta awamutu.

I know there are nice staffs who have great customer service. Today i went to this shop to buy few items. One of the items was 3 onions, it was around 600g. This unkind staff put it on to weigh somehow the machine calculated $6 that meant i put the onions 3kg in a bag. the price was $2/kg. I kept saying the weight must be something wrong. I had put in a bag just few onions not 3kgs. She asked other staff to check the onion price. The other staff checked and said to her yes it is $2/per kg. And then She said to me “yes it is right price which was still $6!!!”I can not forget her face. She didn’t really care or listen to what i said at all. I felt so disappointed about the way the staff  treated me. she didn’t say sorry or even anything else. And then she just looked and talked to the next customer. What a awful service she delivered.

Staff are always friendly and helpful. I find it has room to move around in. It’s great if you want to just pop in and out.

It had all the essential items we needed.

stuffsome are rude and will talk over your head, groceries are overpriced i suggest you go shop at pak n save instead.

Would like to see a greater variety of world wines.

They always have good/better deals for meats in this area.

Initially, I gave this store positive feedback for their easy to use online click and collect system.  Unfortunately, that's where it ended.  My original order was for over $500 worth.  What I received was just over $300 - this meant many items were not in stock.  But, no one told me?!  I live an hour out of town. Had I known several things were not in stock, I could have made arrangements to find the items elsewhere. Additionally, be careful when selecting the "substitutes ok" option.  I ordered a 3.6L clothes wash; it wasn't in stock, so they substituted it with a 1L bottle.  Why would you do that? Also, I ordered 5kgs of pork chops, and I only received 2 x chops in total.  I ordered 5kgs of chicken and received 1kg instead.  Again, I live an hour out of town. Had your staff informed me of the shortcomings, I could have made arrangements to find the missing items elsewhere while I was in town.  I understand not everything advertised on your website is always in stock. However, a phone call to communicate this would have been helpful.  I was counting on this click and collect working well. As mentioned earlier, the website for click and collect is great but what I collected was not.  The 2 stars is for the website.

Fantastic service especially from the online order guy Jacob. He sees me in store and always knows my name and says hi. And all the other staff are friendly too. Its not like the big stores where you just feel like another customer.  The staff get to know you.
