We appreciate that this shop is cheaper and open from 9am-9pm every day, including public holidays, and we understand it can get extremely busy when you’re the only place open. However! If the express checkout line is reaching the frozen food section at the back of the shop, surely there is an issue. I figured out what it was once I made it to checkout. Here is some advice; If the checkout is struggling to keep up with the pace and volume of people, you can save time by bagging the customers groceries while they pay, instead of scanning everything, shoving it to the side and watching us pack our own stuff. Use that spare time to pack up the bag, keep the customers happy, improve the wait times and get rid of the waiting lines.
Fruit and vegetables are so fresh. Bakery goods are excellent and good prices. Meats are great prices and variety. You can do all your shopping so cheaply.
The long john doughnuts were a disappointment. I’d cut and shared them out before I realised they wouldn’t be nice. The fresh cream had no sugar in it, and the doughnut itself tasted like it had missed out on sugar too. The doughnut was very, very bland. I know we are supposed to cut down on sugar intake, but I think in this case the mixtures had totally missed out on any sugar at all.
Planned on spending $150 just picking up a few items.. $300 later, so bargains are better than others. Friendly staff.
The best for saving money on your grocery bill. Always great vegetables and the cheapest meat prices around. They also have great weekly specials. I should mention the staff are friendly and helpful to.
