I don't buy all my groceries here because I can be a bit of a brand buyer and they don't readily have the brands I am inclined to buy.nThey do have a good product range and their prices are generally good.nThey are known to have some really good specials.nWould definately recommend for people not fussy about which brand they buy.
The centre it is in needs rebuilding. Store is a little run down. But good fruit and veg and meat sections. On site bakery and good quality produce
Way cheaper than Woolworths & Coles with an average saving of $1 per item. Way wider isles. No home delivery trolleys in the way, Customer service is friendly and no pushing you to use the self service check out
The beef this just above pet food quality. Bought a whole rib fillet. covered in sinew, cut it off sous vide and reverse seared still chewy garbage. bought a whole rump inedible in steak form, bashed down into schnitzels and still inedible. bought ‘premium beef ribs’, slow cooked in smoker 8 hours and still grisel and sinew throughout. Will never ever buy meat from here again its just disgusting!!
Pkt food full of moths. Fruit and veges last less than 2 days before rotting from inside. I just don't shop for anything apart from meat there anymore and only if used that day. There specials are when everything is already past, so use that day. Otherwise avoid.
