Ordered 2 caramel cappuccino's with 1 sugar and 2 bacon eggs Benny.nThe coffee did not taste like it had caramel in it. Although it was tasty, wasnt burnt etc. My partner is a barister and said it was alright. Yeah I could of seen the staff about it but we were sort of pushed for time. And realistically if u order a caramel cappuccino it should taste like a caramel cappuccino. If i ordered a standard cappuccino i would have rated it 4/5 stars.nEggs Benny - eggs were cooked spot on, bacon was also bang on. But for $20 was rather expensive for 1 muffin, 2 pieces of bacon, 2 eggs and pre packaged hollandaise sauce. Presentation was a little dismal. And the sauce was very yellow. The best packaged hollandaise sauce ive had is the knorr brand. Its brilliant seems fresh and tangy. I feel there should be atleast 1 more cut of bacon and even a more plate presentation. I just find $20 for the Benny was a little too expensive. Can definitely say the service was great, coffees and food were served rather quickly!
What a fantastic cafe, very popular with the locals here!!nA fresh, trendy, feeling cafe on the inside with nice music playing at an enjoyable volume that you can enjoy but not have to shout at your companions.nPlenty of tables and chairs for larger groups to solo diners..A few tables outside too.nnFood has a great variety, loads of healthy options and a decent variety for us vegetarians! The breakfast I took tasted fantastic, it wasn't on the menu but they made it to order which shows the versatility and willingness to satisfy awkward customers like me!!.. A decent portion size was also presented so you won't go away feeling hungry after a trip here!!nDrinks has again a large variety from Bunderbergs to smoothies to lattes.. the coffee I took was again a very nice coffee for my pallette.nAll staff were super friendly and helpful which added to the appealingness of this establishment..nnIt's a fantastic little cafe that I will definitely be using again and worth a visit if you are in Gladstone!!
Newly moved to Gladstone. Found this lovely place based on reviews and it was delightful. Very clean. Air conditioned and stylish interior. The staff were all very pleasant. The savoury muffin that’s made in-house is very good. Definitely recommend pairing it with the tomato chutney exceptional and sour cream option, and make use of the fresh coriander garnish - it works wonderfully together. Coffee is mellow, and the milk was spun perfectly - the barista knows her craft. Be aware that this particular cafe uses different ratios of their shots based on the drink ordered. So just ask if you like yours stronger. Equal to anything I’ve tried in large cities. Will definitely return and bring friends.
Excellent! Busy little cafe but food came out super fast and was delicious. I got eggs Benedict with bacon and avocado and it was a good size portion with eggs cooked to perfection. Staff were lovely. Highly recommend. Nice vibe and plenty of street parking
Been a long time since I entered a random cafe that is run so superbly like this one. I immediately knew who was in charge as she was running a tight ship so brilliantly. The place felt warm and inviting, menus clearly laid out, great ordering system, staff efficient and friendly. I had my own cafe/restaurant for 12 years so I know how hard this industry is. My hat comes off to you. Well done!
