I’ve been a regular customer at Frango Bella Vista for quite some time, frequently ordering the Portuguese chicken burger and both the quarter and half charcoal chicken combos, usually for lunch either at the restaurant or via Uber Eats. The charcoal chicken has always tasted great and been very good value for money, which kept me coming back.nnHowever, during my most recent order, I encountered a very serious food safety issue. In my half charcoal chicken combo, there was a sharp piece of metal embedded in the chicken. It was small and not immediately visible, so when I took a bite, I ended up cutting my mouth and lips on it.nnThis is extremely concerning, as such foreign objects can cause significant injury and pose a severe health risk.nnI’ve already reported this matter through Uber Eats, but so far, I have only received a standard response saying they are 'looking into the problem.'nnThis experience has completely shaken my trust in Frango’s food safety standards, and I urge the management to seriously address such risks and ensure that customer safety is prioritized.nnBased on my experience today, I cannot recommend Frango until they can guarantee the safety of their food preparation.nnCustomers deserve better vigilance to avoid dangerous incidents like this.

Have visited this joint many times. The food is great and well cooked. The burgers in particular are extremely good, loaded with sauce and fresh toppings. The chips are well seasoned and pair very well with their mayonnaise.nnOne thing I will say is that the wait times can be quite long depending on what time you arrive but move fairly quickly. However, definitely worth the wait because the food is super delicious.nnOverall, would 100% recommend this food joint. :

This was our third visit. We ordered a ciabatta and a wrap, and overall everything was about a 3.5–4 out of 5.

Great food here. Always either get the burger combo or half chicken combo. The chicken is always juicy and the chilli sauce is amazing. Chips are almost always crispy too. Prices are good. Only thing to complain about is the “loaded fries” which is just adding sauce on the chips. $2 is too much for a bit of sauce

I’ve been a loyal Frango’s customer for many years, and as always, the food was excellent — flavourful, fresh, and consistently high quality.nnUnfortunately, the service has declined significantly over recent visits. On my most recent order, I requested a paper bag for takeaway to avoid condensation while transporting the food home and was met with unnecessary attitude, despite paper bags being provided to other customers at the time.nnWhile I understand staff can have off days, this has become a recurring experience rather than an isolated incident. It’s disappointing, as the quality of the food continues to be outstanding, but the customer service no longer matches it.
