The Shrine of the Holy Innocents & Garden of the Immaculate are an apostolate of the Conventual Franciscan Friars.
The concept was first thought of over twenty years ago and has now been brought to fruition. The Shrine was officially blessed and opened by the Most Rev. Anthony Fisher OP, Bishop of Parramatta, on the 7th June, 2013.
The main purpose of this Shrine and Garden is to promote the Culture of Life and uphold the dignity of human life, from conception till natural death;it is a place of prayer, contemplation and healing.
All are welcome to visit the Shrine and Garden which are open every day to the public. When you visit you will see the beautiful Chapel Shrine dedicated to the Holy Innocents, The Grotto of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, The Shrine of St. Joseph, (Soon to be built) Shrine of the Divine Mercy and the beautiful life size Way of the Cross.
You will also find beautiful artworks from world renowned iconographer Todor Velin (who has 28 artworks in the Vatican).
The Shrine and Garden are a real oasis in the middle of surburban Kellyville, close to public transport and easily accessible by car.
Mass is celebrated at the Shrine every weekday morning at 6.45am to cater to those wishing to attend Mass before work; and a special Mass is celebrated at 11am every last Saturday of the month in honor of the unborn child, followed by devotions and afternoon tea.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is held: (Before the Mass for the Unborn Child) All night from 8pm Fri till 10am Sat; and every first Saturday of the month from 7pm.
