Pretty good overall experience but the night we ate there they were running short on menu items & had completely run out of a few things, which was super disappointing. Friendly staff & all our meals came out in a good timeframe but a little disappointed with the menu in general. Nice venue & the overall experience was ok but not in a hurry to go back.
This is one hidden gem. Daily changing menu, spacious venue, great service. Peter and his wife really bring a homely feel to an upmarket chic place. As for the chef, the way he made that Barramundi and paired it with a tangy Vietnamese salad - just divine. I almost ordered another one!
Staff especially Luke the chef were so incredible and accommodating and lovely, and the chips were some of the best in Bendigo. Good for gluten free too!!
The food was amazing, staff were friendly and the overall atmosphere was fantastic! I loved my mothers day lunch here and can't wait to go back again!!
The food was amazing, good cocktails and great environment. But customer service was absolutely appalling. The menus weren't explained properly. The Bottomless Brunch wasn't actually bottomless! The staff forgot drinks constantly and once had to come back to table 3 times forgetting what we had ordered. What a shame!
Service has been poor in the past but was great on this occasion. We didn't love the beer menu so opted for beer on tap which we enjoyed. We ordered multiple small meals to share. Pork Scratching was yum! In general nice tasting meals but not wowed. Love the interior and location. Plenty of room for prams and our kids were welcomed.
No booking walk in - we were offered a couch - which turned out a great option - in between course we could relax back into the couch and chill - enjoying the ambience. The food - we chose a set menu - dumplings, pork belly, porterhouse and Asian greens. I will say the meals were amazing. Flavoursome, cooked to perfection. Vege dumpling and prawn dumpling arrived shortly after drinks, soft and well flavoured- a great start. Pork Belly was timed well to arrive - this dish was well thought out - and perfectly balanced. A rare steak done rare - although 40 min after the other two courses was a disappointment. Minor improvement would be to have enough sauce to cater for the steak, flavour combination was well matched though - tender juice of steak combined with crunch of Asian greens combined well. Friendly staff, catered to our needs, while staying out of our space. 4/5 overall. Well done.
Always good food and good service. I had the bao buns and lamb ribs. Lamb ribs were a bit rich after a while, probably better to share with a salad or something to break up the meat. My partner had the burger which he said was quite dry. But we enjoyed our entrees.
Stopped in here for drinks last night and had a great time. Beautiful interior, they’ve really nailed that industrial warehouse look while keeping it classy. Welcoming and friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. Best espresso martini’s in Bendigo. Perfect spot out the front to drink the night away and people-watch. Thanks for letting us stay and polish off our last drinks!
Absolutely amazing experience. My fiancé and I went here last night and enjoyed a 7 course meal, staff were polite, professional and fun, food was outstanding, environment was great! I will definitely be eating here again couldn't speak higher of the venue, possibly the best meal I've had in my life
