I thought the food is delicious but disappointed me. The fried rice was very bland-lack of flavour it was like few veggies tossed in bland rice and it was a bit cold, beef was very chewy-I had to spat it out, steamed vegetables was a little undercooked, the fried food was mostly just batter-lacked good consistency of meat. Ended up having a pretty upset stomach. I generously gave this an extra star for nice and friendly staff.
Best Chinese restaurant in Joondalup! My wife and I always go when we're in the shopping centre for the buffet. There's a really various selection, our favourites are the fried noodles and the deep fried chicken. Very much worth your money! The service is really good, the workers have always been so sweet and kind and remember us every time we return
love this hidden gem!:00000 its a great experience for a foodie like me i got a plate of rotten chicken for free :0! very yummy cold noodles
Never Again! Small plates to start with. Food was cold and absolutely tasteless. They only provide a plastic fork where’s the knife?! wrapped in a very tiny piece of tissue imagine 1/3 of a normal piece of tissue….. do not waste your money there, try something else!
I have never experienced such a disgusting meal. Had a small plate. The choice was very limited and alot of deep fried. Went ahead with the meal. Well, what a waste of money. Cold, tough and dry. Disgusting. How you can stand there and take peoples money for such a s... meal. NEVER AGAIN!
Have been going to this place for the past 15 years. The lady is always lovely and remembers myself and my family. The buffet is good if you want something quick but ask permission before piling the plate with only one dish as that isn't the idea of it. Food is regularly stirred to maintain an even temperature and have never had an issue. Though, if you want the best food the place has to offer order from the menu! It may take a bit longer but you are getting it freshly made and it is amazing! If you don't finish it then there a takeaway containers to put it in. The singapore noodles, spicy pork, special fried rice, honey chicken and ho fun are the usual go to dishes for us and are always delicious.
Had a Laksa Noodle Soup today. This is my 2nd time ordering this after about 2 years or so. Tasted great. I'm a bit of a Laksa fan and I gotta say - $12 was a great price for what you get.
Ordered 2 seafood claypots today for lunch, paid and sat down. Food came out and it couldn't have been further from what we ordered. Stir fried seafood and chicken on a plate of flat rice noodles. When I asked where our seafood claypots were she answered "we don't have that" regardless of it being on the menu board. Now I've had seafood claypot there on at least 100 times over the last 6-7 years andnits the only thing I eat. Won't be back. Oh 1 star was for being fast.
The made to order menu is very good. Generous portion and reasonably priced.
Visited 11/2018 This place has been here for the past 20 years that I know of. Not sure if its the same owners. Food isnt hot - certainly not the 60c required by law. Only a few dishes available and they are all bland & tasteless. Main vegetable was carrot and celery - and most of the celery used was the end & spongy. WONT be visiting again.
