It's been a very long time since the last time I've been to this all you can eat restaurant. I went today on a Wednesday evening for dinner & none of the items were labelled to let you know what you are eating. All the previous times I've been there, it was labelled, so you knew if you were eating pork, beef, and so on. The best thing about today's items was the fruit and dessert. As for the food, it was average. It's cheap quality, but I suppose for an adult paying $29.90 for all you can eat, it's expected not to be a decent quality of food. I'll be in no hurry to go to this restaurant any time soon. Kid-friendliness: Delicious desserts Parking: There is plenty of free parking
I had dinner at this restaurant for the very first time yesterday and it was absolutely disappointing. The place is filthy and dirty. I paid $102 for 2 adults, a 1yr old, 5yrold & 9yr old. Drinks not included It cost $10 for a jug. The place is very run down & old. The food was cold, tasteless and unappealing. It was a waste of money tbh and a very bad experience. I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone. We left the restraunt praying we wouldn't get food poisoning, thank goodness we didn't! I'm not even sure how this place is still open to be honest , I believe the health department need to go there and inspect this place. I guarantee you they would shut them down 100% and they'd never reopen again,that's how filthy and dirty the place is. If your looking for a nice buffet restaurant with a variety of food, This place is NOT IT! BEWARE!! thank you
I had a good experience here you do get that smorgys vibe a little bit but the food is good there fired rice is good but the pizza was also good there honey chicken was good too also they had a roast out and that was good too over all had a great experience the only downside is the price but they got a good spot at the sunshine plaza and good if you got the munchies
Changed a lot since i been there last. The food was great, service was good. Probably just need a good makeover to brighten the place up.Food: 4/5
Very disappointing, not a lot of variety anymore, not much dessert, then you have to wait for next dishes to be topped up. You can tell a bunch of stuff is just brought from the supermarket eg: lasagne, frozen desert cakes. No labels to say what each dish is & dishes just put in any old section. Needs a revamp.
We used a voucher for this meal on Wednesday night....Positive some food was wonderful like the prawns and the homemade sauce for them, noodles, sesame balls dim sims, honey chicken all great..... best mussels i have ever had they were huge.... only 2 people working on the floor one for bookings one doing tables she did a great job cleaning up quickly...Now for the negative....we arrived at 6.10 and it was like most of the food had been sitting there since lunch i did you a favour not posting pictures of that food... we didn't touch most of it as it looked dry and unappealing... so sorry as i think you are trying to drum up new business... i would suggest....giving the floors and glass a good clean and replace who ever washes the cutlery as most was not clean. or maybe spend $40 and replace them get onto building management and get them to clean the vents in the ceiling. cook small amounts and bring out fresh food ! chips tasted like they had sat there for hrs or been reheated... dont let food sit for hrs couldn't touch the carvery I know the price is cheap but we wont be back as its not all fresh and having to check plates and cutlery are clean before picking up is not good..signs for what you are eating would be great rather than trying to guess as in stir fry chicken with veggies etc put the price up by $5 maybe stop people coming to just eat all your prawns pay someone to stand at the counter and give each person a few prawns make them come back or limit to 10 each person that way more money to spend on other things.. we would like to support what we think is a family business but all the negatives out weigh the positives....
It's not the Foodstar all you can eat of old. There was very few dishes and variety. The quantity being put out was also little, so you had to wait for the food to be refilled. Dessert was just average. The coffee machine looked uninviting! I am hoping that this is due to staffing issues from Covid and will pick up soon. Even the individual items a no longer labelled???? Vegetarian options: Not much vegetarian options at all. Dietary restrictions: Dishes not labelled, so can't really tell what dietary requirements are catered for.
Ive given foodstar 3 stars, The staff was friendly an the price i payed for 3children and 2adults could of been a bit more cheaper, considering i arrived near closing time. The effort on presentation was good but it could of been a bit more tasty on the good old taste buds.
Fantastic buffet experience!!! Staff were excellent, food was AMAZING, the atmosphere was fun and ENJOYable our lovely meal on a rainy day. Definitely we will be back!
Came in just before 7pm - over an hour and a half until closing. Most dishes were either empty or nearly empty. By the time we left around 8pm, had not seen anything topped up or refilled. There were also no labels on most of the food and in some cases, that made it extremely difficult to determine what the dish was. Aside from that, several of the dishes were clearly purchased frozen from a supermarket including the pizza, lasagne and the 2 cheesecake dessert options as well as several packs of Woolworths cookies, still in their packaging. As many have mentioned, the cleanliness is severely lacking, and it is severely outdated. For the $30 I paid to walk in the door, I expect more of a range in dishes the lack of a salad bar was particularly upsetting given there is a neon sign advertising salad and at least some attempt to cover the fact a lot of the food has not been made in the venue.
