Co Do is a popular spot among my friends, especially for its Bun Bo Hue spicy beef noodle soup. Naturally, we had to try it, along with the broken rice. The soup was decent but not particularly outstanding, and the portion size was relatively smaller compared to other Vietnamese restaurants.nnHowever, the menu offers a wide variety of dishes, making it a great place to explore different flavors. The restaurant also has plenty of seating, which is convenient for groups. I plan to return to try their tomato rice with beef, which is said to be one of their best-selling dishes.
Best bun bo hue in the west! I have tried many places but am yet to find a better place then here. In particular, I recommend the spicy sliced beef soup. It’s full of flavour and satisfies your cravings!
Came down here on a Thursday night before 6pm, it wasn’t packed by the time we were done. It was full house.nWe ordered the Bank Xeo, crispy noodles and beef wrapped in beetle leaf and cooked over charcoal. The flavours are authentic, portions are generous and heaps of choice and variety in terms of Vietnamese dishes. Sometimes too much choice causes decision paralysis. I think sticking to the first page will serve you very well. Great for hosting parties and service is swift and efficient.
The egg on my broken rice had almost the whole shell on it! I added the photo below as I couldn’t believe it myself. I asked for a new one but they just took the shell off the old one and microwaved it. It made everything so tough and rubbery. The service was atrocious. Used to be amazing here but the quality has definitely gone downhill, must be new owners.
You never go wrong with their noodle soup. We Tried a new dish this time turned out to be very nice Ricecake wrapped in banana leaf. Didnt see any other Vietnamese restaurants serve prawn paste goes very well with the noodlesoup.
