Been here twice. Love the crying tiger and soft shell crab curry. The Tom ... soup with pork is great forget the name. It’s like the taste of Tom yum soup and it’s kind of spicy. BTW, it charges $1p.p for cakeage fee and also surcharge for card pmt. Pad Thai is just ok and kind of sweet, milk tea is average and quite sweet
A tgai restaurant that has very minimalistic feeling. The meals are good especially the tom yum and the crispy skin pork belly. The portion is generous. The service is top notch. The presentation is great as well!
Cheap food with loads of space! If you're planning a work lunch or big groups this place is for you. They have downstairs and upstairs arrangements with loads of options for lunch We chose the massaman curry and Phad Thai, 2 classic dishes. Massaman curry came on rice with a side of naan bread. Little too much coconut used which watered down the flavour but nice overall. I have high expectations of Phad Thai, I felt thus Phad Thai flavour was washed out and bland and a little dry which is a shame. Bathroom is clean and staff are friendly. However with great burger options, din Thai 2 and even pok pok in docklands. I'd look elsewhere for Thai food in this part of town
Great food and good service. When you walk into the restaurant it feels clean and modern. The food is served relatively quickly and tastes great. Be sure to get here early to avoid the lunchtime rush! Food portion however does feel slightly small for the price you pay per dish.
One of the best Thai places I've been to in Melbourne. The setting is clean and modern. We went at a quiet time but apparently it can get pretty busy during the evening for dinner. The service was very friendly attentive, and fast. The food was definitely well above average. We got the spicy beef salad the Pad See Ew. I've had many Pad See Ew's but this one tasted different, but a very good different. It felt light and the flavors came perfectly together. I would have given them 5 stars if it weren't for that dumb 1.5% surcharge on card. It's 2018 and places are still taking advantage of customers who choose to pay by card. Drives me crazy.
Delicious Thai food at this nice restaurant in the CBD...service is good and the fish chips were the best...give it a try if you are in Melbourne's CBD and you won't regret it.. they have a morning/lunch menu and a dinner menu that starts at 5:00 pm
Visited FOMO for lunch on a Friday, place was quite busy but there are ample seats. Believe it's got seating in the first floor too, we were seated in the ground. I tried the Green curry fried rice, I had not noticed this in other Thai restaurants I have visited, totally loved the flavor. Would definitely recommend it. My friends ordered the Pad Khee Mao and Kanaa Tofu, I tried a bit of both and the taste was amazing yet again. When we placed the order the waitress asked us the level of spiciness and accordingly got our respective orders done
Currently my favourite Thai restaurant in Melbourne at this moment. There are more than average Vegestarian menu choices to choose from. about 10?. Which you can also make them vegan as well. The price is a bit on the high side, otherwise i will be going there every week!
2.5 stars Order food from Fomo Thai via Deliveroo. Found their veggies Tom yum soup super oily although the ingredients are all satisfactory. Quite like their spring rolls though, it has vermecilli and veggies and great texture. Kiddo had a chicken mince omelette and he enjoyed it enough, but also commented it’s a bit dry
Hints: there's a button on the wall near the entrance door that can open the door for you. Save that extra energy for eating : Ordered no 14 and 30. The kuey tiaw Tom Yum is just right! Sour and spicy; the only thing lacking is volume. Staff is helpful and friendly.
