We recently replaced our entire carpet and hard flooring through Flooring Design and were so pleased with the service from start to finish. This was our first time buying carpet and Vanessa was so helpful and patient explaining the features and factors to consider. Her interior design skills were just what we needed, recommending what would work best for us and look great in our home. The installing was very well done. Flooring Design Hamilton recently installed for us a roll of new carpet in our home in St Andrews, Hamilton. The quality of service from the store manager and the carpet layer was excellent. They were both most friendly, co-operative, helpful and efficient. We are delighted with the new carpet and underlay, which have made such a difference to the comfort and look of our home. When we decided to redo our carpet and vinyl, I didn't know where to start. From my very first call to Flooring Design, Carey answered all my questions happily, and I knew we would go with them, I didn't even look anywhere else. I walked into the store the next day, was greeted by name, and she had a selection of samples ready based on what I'd told her I was after. Communication was great throughout during what was a tricky time, with installs due during lockdown etc, but we were kept informed and we have nothing but praise for Carey, Mike, and the team at Flooring design, and would not hesitate to recommend them. Friendly, professional, easy to deal with, 10/10!
We would like to thank JD and the team for their excellent service and support. We just got our carpet replaced and we are very pleased with the result. The installers did an amazing job and finished earlier than expected. John was very helpful and thank you for coordinating our schedule as we are under a very tight timeframe. Recommended already to one of our friends who’s also considering carpet changing.
My experience with John was amazing. He was so helpful in assisting me with choosing the right flooring. I needed help with removing the old carpet and John came to my home after work to help. Thank you John. Not many a sales person would do that. I did have a small problem with the young man who laid the vinyl. He refused to help with taking the carpet and a few other items out. I’m an elderly lady and would have appreciated his help. I realise he needs an empty room but the way he spoke to me was not at all respectful.
I popped into flooring design on the chance they may have some large off cuts for an outside bedroom. Graydon was so helpful and showed us a range of carpets at great value. Highly recommend this shop. Thanks so much

Great people to deal with, my new vinyl looks great. They do a great job at installing. Can't fault the service
Upon entering the store was met by the friendly Vanessa who showed me some carpets that suited my requirements. Vanessa was helpful and answered all my questions. The fitting was done professionally and fitting was reasonably priced. My new bedroom carpet looks great and I will definitely return to look again when I'm replacing carpet in the rest of the home.
From the knowledgeable staff in store to the measure, scheduling and high quality install. Every part of process was made effortless by the team. We are more than happy with the quality of the floor and the look is exactly what we are after. They listened to what we were trying to achieve and helped us to pick the right flooring type for our house and style. They worked in well with our Kitchen installer insuring the whole process was completed with no hassles. Would 110% recommend Flooring Design Hamilton .
